Would be 5star but the staff walks on the mats with their shoes on as kids have bare skin on same mats. Invest in socks for staff or no shoe policy on mats. Keep up the great work with the folks that are enjoying their time learning a multitude of physical activities.
This place is amazing they have done so much for my autistic son when we first started he could barely do anything. They took away my son PT and we need an activity to help him with his upper body strength as well as his socializing with other children 6 years ago we went to this center and he has come so far with the help,of this staff and the owner! He now competes on the Special Olympics gymnastics team and recently one four silver medals and three bronze and his confidence is through the roof and it is all because of this facility and their staff, There isn't enough I could say or do to show them what they have done for our family and other families as well this center does so many amazing things for special need families!
The facility itself is excellent, but it's the people that work here which truly make Schafer Sports Center what it is. Knowledgeable, patient, and caring, the staff will work with your child to make sure they have the best experience possible, regardless of their skill or physical abilities.
My experience has been very positive. Excellent soccer program and gymnastics for young children. Coaches are knowledgable, developmentally appropriate, and professional. They encourage children to develop skills while meeting them at their own individual level. They provide positive reinforcement and appropriate guidance to participate in class in a safe and respectful way. They work with parents as needed for make-up classes, student needs , and parent concerns. The facilities are clean and inviting. Staff at front desk is courteous and helpful.
My daughter attended her first gymnastics class last night after hearing about the center from some of her friends at daycare. From the moment we walked in for our trial class, everyone was expecting us and the teacher was very friendly and had a close eye on our daughter when trying activities out for the first time. It was an exciting hour-long class and there were lots of great activities to keep the kids challenged. The front desk attendant patiently answered all of my questions and was very helpful. My daughter can't wait to go back to class again! Excited that they also have an indoor pool for fall/winter swim lessons, indoor soccer, ballet/dance studio too... this place is awesome. Wish I hadn't waited so long to sign her up for gymnastics at Schafer!

Amazing facility, incredible staff, great micro-community of member/enrollees. Classes range in ages. Swimming, gymnastics, kickboxing, and more!. They also do parents night out events for children at least 3 years of age. Highly recommended!!
My kids love it! Especially during the summer. Safe, clean and the staff is friendly, encouraging and polite. They even cater to children with special needs with a fun room which is absolutely wonderful. I wish them nothing but success! Bravo
I sent my niece here this summer for swimming lessons. She enjoyed the lessons. The lifeguards and staff were nice. The pool and facility were very clean. I'll probably sign her up for more lessons soon.
A bit disorganized but that's to be expected in their first year. They are taking measures to improve. Very clean facility with friendly staff and fair prices. Most importantly the kids are enjoying themselves and getting active!
