SCU Health System’s Center for Diagnostic Imaging is operated by board-certified chiropractic radiologists (DACBR), and has been serving the radiological needs of chiropractors for decades.
Led by Dr. Hector RiveraMelo, DC, DACBR. The experienced radiologists who analyze your films are dedicated to prompt and accurate evaluations of your patient’s radiological studies. Services of Center for Diagnostic Imaging include:
• Interpretation and acquisition of x-rays
• Interpretation of your radiographic studies
• CD- or DICOM-based imaging interpretation of x-ray, CT and MRI
With our new Carestream Directview Vita CR system we can acquire x-ray imaging on your patient, transfer those images to a CD with an included mini reader, and hand that disc to the patient to carry back to your office while we read the images for you with a follow-up faxed report.
For physicians who prefer to acquire their own images, but would like to utilize our interpretation services, x-rays and CDs can be mailed to us, or you may transmit images via DICOM image transfer which expedites report turnaround time.
