GREAT experience! Our fridge was messing up. It would turn off long enough for our food to get warm and stuff to thaw out and then kick back on. I informed my landlord and recommended her to go to Sears. I’ve always had an AMAZING experience there. When arriving there she was greeted professionally and they let her know all her options for her purchase. The young man that helped her was not only very knowledgeable about all the products he was showing her but also incredibly friendly. She left happy with her purchase and service. I was called a few hours later to set up a time for the next day delivery. The delivery driver was super nice and did a pretty amazing job navigating our narrow hallway. He was courteous and made sure, during this time, what we we’re comfortable with while in our home. He switched the handles on the fridge to make it more sufficient for opening the doors and he even put our old fridge in the garage for us. Again, I highly recommend this place and I would ignore all the negative “Karen’s” in these reviews. Always two sides to every story and let’s just remember, the customer is NOT always right.
I recently purchased a Kenmore washer and dryer, fridge and dishwasher. I am very happy with my purchases and shopping at the Ukiah store was super easy and convenient. I had great customer service from Dan Peterson and his staff. I found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Fast delivery and the appliances work great. Give them a try before heading out of town to shop. I see some people have posted some negative comments but I'm not convinced they are true reviews. My experience with the store has been positive and I've always had good service and good products. Check it out for yourself, you will see.
We purchased our refrigerator in July with a 3 week to 1 month delivery estimate because our refrigerator broke down. We are now in month 5 with 6 blown dates of delivery. Each time we came to the date of delivery we would find out that we are not receiving our refrigerator either the day before or on that day. We will have to figure something out for Thanksgiving as we have no refrigerator. If I could give no stars I would. Don't buy from this store if you need your appliance within a 5 month period.
I was hoping to consult with the store manager, but they don't answer the phone. I purchased a vacuum cleaner online, and it was shipped to me. Only they shipped me a humidifier instead of a vacuum. I called the store and when I finally reached somebody, the person who answered me told me that since it was shipped directly to me, that I needed to go through customer service. Customer service was very apologetic, and said that they would assist me. Only I've now been playing phone tag with them for 2-3 weeks! They said that they could send me a return shipping label, but they haven't. I keep asking them, and they keep saying the same thing. I can't return via the store, and customer service either cannot help me, or does not want to help me. I have spent over $400, and they shipped me the wrong product, and I cannot seem to return it. Very frustrated. I realize this is probably the not the place to post this, but want to warn others, if they try to order things online.
Bought a Washing machine and almost immediately the numbers on the face plate rubbed off. Luckily the sales rep convinced me to buy their warranty. Not only did Sears stand behind their warranty they even found a way to service this issue with the challenging times we are going through with covid19 going on. I will recommend sale, services and warranty to anyone. Thank you Sears team!
My mother in law has waited 4 months for a dishwasher and today I called and instead of the run around she got I found out the unit is at the store and has been since 1/27/2021. She paid roughly 800 for this unit and no call, no one came here as this store had told me they normally would do. Nothing happened for a now 78 year old women. This is beyond sad and someone should have seen a unit in the back not delivered and found out why it is what I would have done and not one person thought after 4 months it isnt delivered and how many days in the store does it take for someone to see what is wrong with this order. Everything this women owns is from this store and has always gone to them for this to happen is beyond sad to me what about you fixing something so bo other person regardless of age has to go through this.
The worse public relations I've ever experienced. Will never do business with Sears again. Ordered a refrigerator 2 weeks ago still have not received it. It's going to take another week before I actually get it. I was not even compensated for the delay. Such incompetence. They receive no star from me.
The new refrigerator from Sears was defective. The freezer worked fine. The refrigerator wouldn't reach 40 degrees. It mostly stayed at 50. We lost a lot of food due to spoiling. Sears was great. They plugged in another refrigerator at the store and in just 2 days swapped it for the defective one. I highly recommend Sears in Ukiah, Ca. Thank you Hugo Montelongo, Andrew Parker, and Sears staff. Our family of 5 really appreciate it.
The washer we ordered was going to take longer than originally expected. Dan the owner sold us the washer off the floor, which is something stores don’t usually like to do. We are so grateful. Our old washer had not been working correctly for over a month. Thank you Dan from our Hometown Sears store here in Ukiah, Ca.
This place has the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered at any business. The manager makes up excuses and lies trying to make a sale when there is obviously many choices of where to shop. In a small community you can not afford to treat your customers so poorly. I will no longer patronize this business and I highly recommend others dont either to save you from wasting your time and money. I had to pick 1 star as it was the only option but really I would pick zero stars. On a scale of 1 to 10 they get a 0 for not keeping their word valid and operating in a very unprofessional way.
