They're going out of business. The sales are good at this point, but they're obviously limited on staff.
If I could give Sears NO stars, I would. Horrible customer service! I looked for work boots for 30 to 40 minutes all the time the lady that worked the department wandered around aimlessly without asking One customer if they needed assistance. When I finally found something that I liked, I sought her out and discovered I had cut myself on some of the sharp cardboard boxes that held the boots. Asking "if it wasn't to much trouble to see if they have first aid kits for a band-aid". She said "Oh, we don't have anything like that here". Now... That's just fine by me, I pull the kleenex out of my pocket and bled into that. But when i asked her if she could get a price for the boots I liked they weren't on the box she said "just go scan them over there". I decided to walk out. A complete lack of customer service in this country, especially at this Sears. I've been going to Sears ever since I was a little boy, a lifelong customer. Not anymore. September 25 2016 1:30pm
The Service sucks! I brought a refrigerator and order the installation and haul away the old one services and paid for them. But when they delivered my refrigerator, one of them said he just a delivery man, he could do nothing without a plumber!!!!!! I was pretty sure I had the water shut off valve and I pointed it to him. He didn’t listen to me and insisted to have a plumber here! ........
Called to see if the Oxford Valley Store had a stove on the floor I wanted to see. Salesperson, Luna, said computer did not show it, but she thought they did. She checker and it was there. Visited store that evening; Luna was there and remembered my call. Bought the EXACT stove I was hoping for at a GREAT price; almost half what I saw at another appliance store.
Tools department just doesn't answer and you have to call lawn and garden. I asked if they had something in stock and I got put on hold for 20 minutes and then told they'd call me right back. Same thing with Neshaminy mall. Legit there's no customer service and I got NOWHERE WITH THEM. I ask them a simple question and it's the most complicated thing in the world. I mean, the one guy I understand because he was the only one there but seriously why the hell don't you put more people on the clock for more customer service? You're kidding me. It's terrible. I'll have to go there tomorrow for an answer and just wait around I bet.
Saw maybe 3 employees while I was in the store all in the appliances section. once I had something to buy not an appliance I spent 10 minutes looking for anyone to ring me up, no one to be found. I left my purchase and walked out with nothing.
So sad this store closed today. It was unrecognizable and heartbreaking today. The prices were at 95% off at the very end and they closed at 5pm instead of 6pm. I loved this store and will miss it terribly.
Absolute worst customer service. If you call your local store you have to go through 100+ options and even after that you'll get transferred somewhere other then your local store to someone who barely understands what you're asking and who can barely speak English to tell you they are useless!!!
They are slowly but surely phasing out having any variety or selection of items in the store. Like they are trying to force you to go online to shop and then pick it up from your local Sears.
Since the store is closing at the end of the year, everything is is very scattered and disheveled. The employees are trying to keep the place organized, but people are just being slobs.
