The Seattle University Graduate Programs in Public Administration educate public service professionals seeking to advance their careers in local, state, or federal government or the nonprofit sector. The departments offers a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree to prepare students with knowledge and skills in critical thinking, analysis, administration, management, policy, and research. The department also offers a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration. The 12-credit, four-course certificate is designed to provide individuals with practical “hands-on” experience and best practices in policy analysis, human resources, finance, and management skills. Courses are offered as a blend of on-campus meetings and online instruction.
The Institute of Public Service offers graduate degrees in Public Administration and Nonprofit Leadership, and an undergraduate degree in public affairs and nonprofit leadership.
