Seminole County Public Library - Oviedo Branch

I love that libraries are still around. They provide many services other than loaning books! The librarians at this location are very friendly and helpful! They also sell used magazines, DVDs and books for an excellent price, and sometimes you find a gem! .

I came here to get some studying done and it was nice and peaceful! The skylight in the middle makes everything feel bright and airy. Plus I saw most people social distancing and wearing masks — a big plus during these uncertain times.

Love this location. Helpful librarians. Quiet. Lots of events for every age.

Quiet and friendly as a library should be. A bit small but you can order books shipped for free from other branches.

The staff does not follow the typical 'library quietness' that you would expect. I have tried to come here multiple times because of the convenience of driving, for studying and I am reminded every-time why I don't want to return. I hear them over ear plugs.. It would be a great place to study if the staff and people visiting who have questions just lower their voices. It seems that the courtesy of inside voices has been forgotten..

They let me charge my phone and sit there awhile. Everyone was very helpful.

The Oviedo Chickens live there now!!! What's not to love? Wonderful, cheerful staff and adorable, sassy Rooster and his ladies.

I visited this location for the first time on August 14, 2021 and I was really impressed. This branch is very nice on the exterior and interior - different from the other Seminole County Library branches. The exterior has a decent amount of parking and there's a kindness garden, which is unique to this branch. The interior is spacious, has lots of seating and is clean. I definitely will visit again!

I love this place. My family just recently moved to Florida, and I was so happy that our local library was so close. Staff has been excellent and very helpful.
