came to visit my mom and she has a small bathroom. cant believe how this place has a FREE 24/H bathroom with 2 stand up showers that also has ac/heating that u control. they have a lovely community and would recommend if you was retired/ retiring and was looking for a small quiet community. plus its super close to casino. i cant express the feeling when i seen the bathrooms and then the other things i seen on my way there for the ones who are needy and cant afford a meal its some free food i guess donated for at least 1 meal its awesome.
Love the piece and quite, the people that have lived here forever are some of the best people to meet. The owner of the park is awesome. We have a variety of animals that roam the park, ducks, chickens, geese.
Drove to the coast looking for a nice campground. Shady Acres had good reviews. We were excited to find such a nice place to stay, until we got there. We drove through their campground in complete silence. We were speechless. All I can tell you is, Don’t waste your time. The pictures had to have been taken before it became a run down trailer park.
it looks nice & clean all the time. A very warm & welcoming place that I feel would be a nice place to live..
Beautiful place. Only been there to visit 1 person. Seems very quiet and under good management. Grounds were well kept.
We are snowbirds from Illinois. Robyn Olive you must have taken the pictures from some place else. This is a quiet little campground. The owners are very nice and personable they will do anything for you. We looked at this place on line and glad we did pictures can be deceiving. We will be back next year this is a wonderful place and safe to stay.
Have lived here for 2 years, we are so very happy here. Quiet community , safe and no worries from theft or unnecessary noise. Quiet time is from 9pm to 8 am and park management makes sure there is compliance. Highly recommend for one month to full-time.
This RV Park has been nothing but a pleasure to be in. The owner held us a spot for long term without nothing more than our word that we were coming in 2 weeks… Sure enough our spot was indeed available. This is a long term facility and all those we have met have been outstanding folks.. Owner and Management are great people and I highly recommend….
If I could give a zero I would. Came through to drop off food for an elderly man and got yelled at for going 5mph!! Mind you, the speed limit is 5mph and she's yelling for going that speed. You could of came and saw the speedometer. Even called this place to move into and very glad chose not to. Would not recommend this very RUDE place!!
My husband and I have traveled the country for his job for the last 2 years. We choose to settle down here in Bay St. Louis and have found our home here in Shady Acres! Everyone from the owners to the maintenance guy is so nice and always willing to help you! I feel safe here even when my husband works night shift! There are cookouts and community get togethers several times through out the year! When our ac unit went out Bill was very helpful in finding a company to come to the park to replace it! Michelle and Scott the managers are great people and always helpful! The laundry facilities are very nice and affordable! There is a cute little dog yard for Your pups to run in! The shower areas are currently being completely overhauled! I am excited to see and use the rain head showers when completed! I would highly recommend staying here!
