Just went with the family for a simple picnic. Enjoyed our time there is a pavilion with picnic tables, as well as a handful of picnic tables spread around the park, near the lake. Would’ve been nice to have more shade on some of them, but we survived. My grand children definitely enjoyed the new playground equipment. Playground: Not extensive but certainly up-to-date.
This place is so special to me and to my family. We practically raised our fur son here. 10 years later and we still enjoy each time we visit. We hope for many more years together at this beautiful park.
Great park for kids, exercising, walking the lake, playing sports or just getting some peace time. There are what seems like hundreds of turtles. They have a quarter machine to get duck and turtle food. A decent playground. Not the best and just all around a good park. Playground: Decent, not the best Restrooms: They have them Dog-friendliness: Very Picnic area: Covered if needed
Love this park, small but nice view.
Not what I expected. Has caution signs up to infrom people to watch for snakes, geese dropping surrounding walking path as well as in grass so watch your step; a short walk around the pond, seems like a nice place to play basketball or tennis, and they have a playground for kids. Restrooms: Clean restroom near play area Dog-friendliness: Signs posted that all pets must be on a leash, and the owners responsibility in cleaning up after their pet. Picnic area: One large area and a few small sitting areas.
Family park. Good for a nice walk around. I go to lay in the field to work on my lappy toppy, write or meditation. Very clean and has something for everyone to enjoy their time there. Has become a favorite spot of mine.
First Friday is a great community celebration.
Had a great walk at the park. Beautiful view and relaxing while walking and enjoying the peace and quiet.
Great little park for a walk, doesn’t get you away from it all but has plenty of space and views. Kids were able to feed some birds with provided quarter feeders. Both basket ball and tennis courts are available. And a small playground for young kids.
Nice park with a half mile loop around the lake. Good place to get in your walk. There is ducks geese, birds, and fish are all prevalent.
