The instructors at SASDA provide personalized self-defense programs that will accommodate your goals, personality, and lifestyle. We teach Kenpō Karate. Our syllabus blends speed, agility and circular movements of the art of Kung Fu with the harder, more linear, 'striking art' of Japanese Karate to produce an incredibly effective self-defense system. Our students experience the beauty of the traditional Martial Arts and gain a strong sense of DISCIPLINE and CONFIDENCE that are essential for real-life situations. The Academy offers private and group instruction for children, teens, and adults of any age or skill level.
Kenpō (拳法)
Kenpō is the name of several Japanese martial arts. The word kenpō is a Japanese translation of the Chinese word “quánfǎ.” This term is often informally transliterated as “kempo.” Kenpō, roughly translated, means “Fist Law.”
