This is my favorite theater in the Twin Cities. Clean, lots of great concessions in a nice neighborhood. The nachos and burgers etc are great. I come with a family of 4 and can get 2 meals to share throughout a movie great portions. Highly recommend and I'm unsure of if it's my luck or the movies I'm choosing but it's never packed which is good as well. Will return!
One of the best theaters in the twin cities. Nice bar and seating area upstairs, clean and quiet place. I wish it was closer to my house.
I ordered tickets online I didn’t have my glasses. I went to get popcorn. The lady said I’d have to order from the kiosk I explained I couldn’t see. She said you want me to jump the counter so I can show you I said, excuse me, you can find me somebody to help me. My mom has dementia. I had brought her with. She likes to talk to people and socialize a woman comes and told me she was the situation the woman the woman never apologize to me or sympathize with me. She said she would assistant taking us to our seat. I said I had forgotten to get my soda. Could you please watch my mother for a minion she told me she could. I came back in my mother was standing up, and I had said to her you told me you were watching my mother she looked at me and said it’s not my responsibility. Do you want me to show you to your seats? Or upset with her she could sense it. Don’t stop this right now. I’m going to ask you to leave and you’re gonna lose your I said, excuse me, you said you were watching my mother and I came back and she stain you told me you’re going to do some thing I expect you to do it. I asked her for her number she told me I’d have to Google it on the Internet she wasn’t going to she is the operations manager of the showplace theater we were going to the 240 show p.m. this afternoon
I have been to many movie theaters, but this place stands out as it provides a very cozy and relaxing environment to enjoy the movie. I visited this theater when it first opened and haven't been back until today, and I was excited to watch a movie here again. Keep up the good work!
First I would like to say the bartender was fantastic!!!! But the food experience sucked we ordered nachos before our movie started and NEVER received the nachos we ordered not to mention it was a two hour movie!!!! Then the manager while giving us a refund told us no one was sitting in our seats when we specifically made sure we occupied the seats 9 ands 10 to make sure we received what we paid for!!! I was ok with them forgetting but wasn’t ok when the manager made it seem like it was our fault for not receiving the nacho instead of him admitting it was just a mistake!!!! DO BETTER GUYS
I brought my grandson to this theater as they used to offer real butter for the popcorn, not any more. The ordering kiosk was not working and the two behind the counter, didn't help just said it does that all the time. The candy selection optimal. I have been loyal to this theater since it opened and even though the theater itself is very nice, popcorn without butter is a deal breaker so will select a new theater with more options.
I really enjoyed being able to pick our seats ahead of time. Being able put the armrest up between the seats, so I could snuggle my sweetheart. We enjoyed a good cocktail and appetizer before the movie. We'll be back.
Been coming here for nearly 10 years. Always the 21+ VIP rooms. The ambience, it just gives a certain feel. The drink menu had always been great. Their food menu use to be slamming. But after the temporary close of the lounge during pandemic, it fell WAY off. To the point where i plan to eat before or after the movie. But all in all i wouldn’t go to any other theater one exception
Nice ambiance and neat environment, located in a plaza like set up! We liked the movie experience here and the food was amazing… though slightly overpriced, it’s worth trying it out once in awhile! Seating was slightly more compared to other theaters but since the crowd was less, it turned out be pleasant!!! Good one for the ticket prices!!
Got there to see the new Spiderverse in the VIP area, it was late and I double checked that the kitchens were still open because I didn’t want to be THAT guy, but the bartender confirmed they were, so I ordered and was gonna have the food brought to our seats. A half hour goes by and I come out to check on the food, the bartender told me that not much time had really passed since I ordered, so I went back to my seat. An hour later I went back to the counter, I had totally given up on getting my food but I wanted a refund, I talked to a cook who was on his way out and he said he never received the order that I was charged for and that he can’t help me. I ended up going to guest services after the movie to get my refund and honestly the manager is the only reason this has 3 stars instead of 1. He was super cool and understanding about it.
