On April 4, 1987 a group of women introduced the sisterhood known as Sigma Sigma Sigma to St. Mary's University. The Epsilon Iota Chapter strives to reaffirm its long standing core values of wisdom, power, faith, hope and love.
On April 4, 1987, a group of St. Mary's University's finest young women joined together to bring to their campus a sisterhood unlike any other. Together, they chartered the Epsilon Iota chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma National Sorority at St. Mary's University of San Antonio— a campus rich in tradition, Marianist values, and academic prestige.
To establish among its members a perpetual bond of friendship, to develop in them strong womanly character, and to impress upon them high standards of conduct.
