SilverCity Mission Cinemas provides an all-encompassing cinematic experience that is both enjoyable and memorable. As a dedicated movie-goer, I recently had the pleasure of visiting this theater, and I must say, it left a lasting impression. The first thing that struck me was the modern and inviting atmosphere of the cinema. The foyer was clean and well-lit, creating a welcoming environment from the moment I walked in. The staff were friendly and efficient, guiding me through the ticketing process with ease. Upon entering the auditorium, I was impressed by the comfortable seating arrangements. The seats were plush and spacious, offering excellent legroom and ensuring a comfortable viewing experience. Furthermore, the theater was impeccably clean, showcasing a commitment to maintaining a high standard of hygiene and comfort. The audio and visual quality at SilverCity Mission Cinemas was top-notch. The state-of-the-art sound system and high-definition projection made for an immersive experience that truly enhanced the movie-watching journey. Whether it was a booming action sequence or a delicate dialogue-driven moment, the audio-visual presentation was always on point. One of the standout features of this cinema was the variety of movies being offered. From the latest blockbuster releases to indie gems, SilverCity Mission Cinemas seemed to cater to a diverse range of tastes. This diversity was further complemented by their impressive concession stand. The range of snacks and beverages available was extensive, providing ample options to satisfy different cravings. The only reason I'm not giving SilverCity Mission Cinemas a full five-star rating is due to the pricing, which felt slightly on the higher side. While the quality of the experience is undoubtedly worth it, budget-conscious movie-goers might find themselves spending a bit more here compared to other theaters in the area. In conclusion, SilverCity Mission Cinemas offers an exceptional cinematic outing that stands out in terms of its inviting ambiance, top-quality audio-visual setup, and diverse movie selections. Whether you're looking for a solo escape or a night out with friends and family, this cinema provides an experience that truly brings the magic of the movies to life. Despite the slightly higher pricing, the overall experience makes SilverCity Mission Cinemas a must-visit for any movie enthusiast.
Very friendly and helpful staff. No line ups. Excellent variety of goodies Fresh popcorn and undiluted soda. I have the theater to myself, a really real big screen TV for the fraction admittance fee compared to Abbotsford. Sound is noticeably not any better or worse than Abby either, so for a 12 minute car ride, you can reward yourself with a quiet night out and, they have a nitro dot ice cream machine. Who doesn't like cotton candy ice cream in pearl size.
We've been attending this cinema for more than 10 years. We've ways found it to be clean, comfortable, and a pleasant space to take our grandchildren to see a show. Anytime over the years that we've encountered issues, the staff have been swift in finding a resolution that accommodates everyone. What we really appreciate about the Silver City Cinemas in Mission is the diversity inclusivess in the staff they've hired. Having disabilities ourselves, we appreciate that as an employer SilverCity makes accommodations for people with disabilities to be a thriving and productive part of their staff and by default, our community. We have always found all of the staff who work in this cinema to be well mannered thoughtfully attentive people, which adds high value to our family's limited entertainment dollars. Highly recommend this cinema for family outings.
A bit of curiosity to know why carrying Starbucks coffee into the theatre is not permitted ,if bought right across the road.Well, they have their own Starbucks counter with minimal selection of coffee even if u don’t want to drink their sad coffee very basic menu, still u have to buy from the counter.I request Silvercity guys- plz add some better coffee menu for Starbucks. If needed plz refer the menu in the Starbucks store right outside ur parking. If not, then plz permit the coffee in the theatre rather than letting people sit in the food court and finish their drinks and then go to watch the movie..This was really silly of them.
I have been going to this movie theater while growing up in maple ridge for years.... I saw that you are playing "The sound of freedom" and I think that deserves 5 stars! I've moved to Kamloops and the movie theater here isn't playing it.
I love this theatre it gives me so much childhood nostalgia glad it's still open it's almost never busy which is really nice if you want a peaceful movie night out
Thanks to my Scene Card I was able to enjoy a free movie. I saw murder on the Orient Express it was excellent. Love the theater love the food love the seats. Mostly love it's two and a half kilometers from my house I can walk or drive.
Ah The Mission Cineplex, Where do I begin? The seats were torn and had metal pieces sticking out which my friend almost d*mn near cut himself on. The inside of the theater was freezing cold, and the lights in the theater were flickering constantly. my drink holder had absolutely no bottom so my drink went right through when i went to set in into the holder. The volume of the movie itself was actually deafening and at one point the theater actually started shaking because it is positioned right next to the railroad tracks. All of this mixed together with burnt popcorn and scarily overpriced movie tickets. I got to say its not one of the best theaters in the world. But hay its the only one in town so there really isn't anywhere else for me to go. Honestly I wish I were making all of this up.
One of the best place to watch movies in Mission. People from Abbotsford also comes here to watch films.
Always the cinema of choice for my daughters and I to see a new movie. Way better than HighStreet
