I truly mean no disrespect to the person that I just spoke with, but she was basically making up answers that she thought seemed right. The health codes that I referenced, she didn't even realize we're in place. By all means you do not need to answer every question if you do not have all the information, but giving out misinformation only sabotages small businesses. If I didn't know that she had no idea what she was talking about, I would have spent my time, energy and money pursuing the directions that she gave me. Luckily I have done my research and I knew that what she was saying was just not right. She then gave me an email address to contact people who may actually know what they're talking about. Please make sure you are not sabotaging small businesses. It is hard enough to open a business in this area without being misguided and having our funds and energy directed to wastefulness. She was very nice. She had great energy, unfortunately she was not the Oracle that I needed to speak to and that's okay, but please don't try to be the oracle of all knowing food safety if you are not.

Cannot get ahold of this place DURING business hours. I have called 2 different times while they have been open about getting a copy of my immunization records. I followed the phone prompts to immunizations. The first time I called, it was a lady who had recorded a message saying she was out of the office and would return August 29th. I called August 30th… Called twice on September 7th and again, same lady on a recorded message saying she was out of the office… but returning a different day this time. This time it was September 7th! So.. what this tells me is that no matter when you call, even if it’s during open business hours, you won’t be able to speak to anyone. Maybe take your phone number off if you aren’t going to answer the phone.
Business to business if you have a sign with your daily hours and don’t want to help someone coming in 20 minutes before you close you should either update your hours or hire staff that will work until their shift is over
I am newbie homeowner and can't even begin to tell you how complicated permits, septic and all the regulations are. Having someone explain things in an easy to understand way is so important, and I have to say my experience with the SHD was great! I worked with Michael Wagner, who responded quickly via email, and even called me to make sure I understand the details. Often these agencies get a bad rep, I can tell you it's unjustified at least for Snohomish County.
So about 4 months ago I walked in here and bought 2 birth certificates one for myself and one for my daughter! My daughter finds a job and the job act like they don’t have it any more so I had to go in last week to buy a new one, I swear if you bought one this year, you shouldn’t have to pay twice plus that price is Ridiculous $25 for the certificate then $15 for a filling fee! This stuff is crazy all this to get my daughter a Washington state ID that even cost more than this!!!!
Saw the poster you guys made about covid and washing hands whoever translated in Russian language should probably fire himself have I ever seen so many mistakes and half of the things are not even make sense !!’ Hire translator!!!!! Good luck!
Two days in a row now went to obtain my child's birth certificate.... Office opens at 8am and who I'm assuming is the manager is extremely rude tells me they are having a staff meeting at 845am and it could take over an hour and I looked and there is ZERO noticed stating they would be closed from this time to this time of any kind.....second day get there around the same time and now all the lights are off and multiple staff members are behind the counter..... First off there shouldn't be office meetings during office hours that take up a huge chunk of time with no notice or postings of anything and secondly the woman needs to learn to speak to people...
People at the counter are knowledgeable. Worked with Jonell on my last two permits she was very helpful and always answered my questions.
There phone system is garbage "for birth certificates press 4." I press 4. "Sorry i did not get that please try again" I try 3 more times and call 2 more times.....
