The South Shore Art Center was established in 1997. The South Shore Art Center is conveniently located behind the Bellmore train station, 218 Pettit Avenue and offers the opportunity for you child, or children, to work with certified, experienced and professional artist/instructors.
Recent "graduates" are presently attending prestigious art schools such as Pratt, FIT, SVA and other fine institutions or universities.
The South Shore Art Center prides itself in educating, developing, and strengthening artistic skill, creativity, talent and knowledge, all while encouraging self-esteem and expression for their students.
Owner and art director, Jay Lupetin, is equipped with over 30 years of teaching experience says, "Artists see the world around them differently. Here at South Shore Art Center, we teach the skills and techniques to foster creativity and success."

Pre-K/Kindergarten Enrichment Class - 10 weeks - $125
Drawing and Painting (Grades 1-6) - 8 weeks - $200
Clay works (Grades 2-6) - 8 weeks - $200
Pottery/Clay works (Grades 7-12) - 8 weeks - $200
Mudpies (Grade 7-12) - 8 weeks - $210
Studio Art (Grades 7-9) - 8 weeks - $205
Portfolio Art (Grades 10-12) - 8 weeks - $210
Birthday Parties available upon request (Minimum of 12 children)

$16.95 per child (15-19 children)
