I love the fact that they have a little Arcade. The seats don’t recline all the way like the newer movie theaters but they have a little give. You can get a large cheese pizza for around $10 Which is much cheaper than the other theaters such as Marcus renaissance and South shore. It’s has nice size slices and is filling, but It has no real flavor. Kinda like when you get frozen pizza from the store, you usually have to add seasoning to make it more palatable. Oregano, garlic and pepper would help. Other than that it’s a decent spot and it’s laid back and relaxing there which I appreciate.
The fact that this place exists is so awesome. For the longest time, I thought the cheaper movie theaters had disappeared completely but that is not true. This location has good discounted rates on tickets. It's cheaper than most places, and on top of that, they have new and older movies available, and both of them have cheaper rates on tickets. Plus they have an arcade which is a long-lost joy that used to exist in basically every movie theater. Even the concessions are cheaper than in other locations. Small caveat, the concessions may not be cheaper anymore as it has been a few months since I went. So so don't rip me a new one if I am wrong about that. The tickets are for sure cheaper as I just checked the website today.
Awesome theater and friendly staff! The staff really enjoyed one another which made my visit fun and memorable. Great job you all. I drove to Franklin from Madison because you all were the only ones playing Hypnotic. What a great movie! Thanks
When you have GREAT EXPERIENCES it NEEDS to be SHARED. Eric manager at Franklin, WI Marcus showtime cinema was AMAZING. I purchased 2 tickets for a movie, could not make it, thought with a heavy heart they'll be counted as a loss I did not want a refund just an exchange for the date/time however because I used a promotion code to make the purchase was unable to do that. I requested if the tickets purchased could go to someone wanting to see the same movie. Eric assured me he could possibly make that happen I was overjoyed that he considered it. Negativity and complaints generally are shared on reviews I choose to post greatness. Thank you, Eric
I love this movie theatre.......usually. Last night was a different experience. The concession area had 2 lines open and wasp about 15 - 20 people deep in both lines. There were about 6 to 8 people behind the counter though, but no one thought to open up another register. As for the theater it was extremely hot. My kids had red faces and I was very warm. In the lobby, there was a mess of food on the floor. There was popcorn and wrappers on the ground. This all while there was a lull between movies. At the concession stand every employee in view, about 5 or 6 of them, were either leaning on the counter and talking or sitting on the benches waiting for a movie to end. My 3 year old daughter saw the hot dog on the ground and said daddy yucky garbage. So I guess a three year old can see the mess but employees between the ages of 16 and 25 cannot. This is an edit from my last review. Since the last review the Marcus corporation felt like this should be there new value cinema. We were extremely disappointed in this decision. The last two times we've been here have been great. The theatre was clean and the staff seemed to care. Obviously, now the movies are cheaper but we have to wait for newer movies to get here. Oh well. With lower prices, the place has been cleaner, the staff has been courteous and the service polite. I would highly recommend coming here as I am afraid that if people don't Marcus will shut this "value cinema" down too.
Cost for Friday nite movie for senior is great price for Fri nite$8! I wanted to buy 2 boxes of jr mints but were $5a box. I said forget that! The guy asked me to put the boxes back on the rack.
We love this theater!! If you go early, there's hardly ever anyone there but the popcorn might be a bit stale.
This movie theater has some of the best popcorn we have ever had! They do it right... they take the time to fill it halfway, add butter and seasonings and then fill it the rest of the way.
It is a great place to meet my family and watch a good movie. They always have great seats and refreshments that everybody can enjoy.
Showtime has traditional seating & a snack bar, which I prefer to the lounge chair/bistro style. Nice place to see a movie
