I was recommended Dr. Chamberlain by a friend and my only regret is that I didn’t know about him sooner. The doctor was running behind on our initial appointment, but Dr. Chamberlain took his time with each of my kids. He is very knowledgeable and took time to answer all of my questions. My daughter had to go back to have a cavity filled and Dr. Chamberlain called later that evening to check on how she was doing.
If you are ten minutes late, they won't see you. AND they will charge you $25 for each kid. I had an appointment for all 3 kids back to back and I was ten minutes late. They refused to see even one of them, and sent me home. Then I get a bill in the mail for three missed appointments. I haven't been back since. They had time to see my other kids, but wanted to go home early. I shouldn't be fined $75 because they want to go home early and not see my other kids.
Everyone at South Valley Pediatrics is SO kind and really great with kids! My daughter has anxiety, especially with doctors and dentists, and they were very patient with her and extremely friendly and encouraging. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great pediatric dentist! Editing to add: we had my daughters work done, and they did an excellent job! She had to be sedated, and the anesthesiologist and the dentist both made us feel so at ease. Great people and great place!
Great place! Fantastic dentist! The staff is amazing and always treat my children kindly. My boy has sensitive gums and they take extra time cleaning his teeth without making him too uncomfortable. They praise the kids on what they do right and encourage them to improve where they need to. This last visit my daughter had to pinky promise to brush her teeth every day. In the car she let me know how important is was that she keep that promise!
Dr Hutchings is amazing! He so so nice and made us feel very comfortable during our visit to take care of cavities. I will recommend him to all my friends and family!
South Valley Pediatric Dentistry is AWESOME!! The front desk gal was so sweet with my kiddos and was willing to turn on a movie for them to help the waiting time go faster. Which wasn’t long to start with! Dental assistants were so great with my kids and helped them feel at ease. I was totally planning for them to be the crying children that are inconsolable, but because of the care given to them they totally rocked it!! Lastly, Dr. Bower is GREAT!! He spoke to my kids in a way they understood, answered all my questions, and gave awesome care. We will for sure continue dental care with them from now on!!! Very impressed with their office on all levels.
We love getting 6 month checkups at South Valley Pediatric Dentistry! My oldest has some anxiety when sitting in the chair and the awesome assistants helped him feel comfortable and safe. I appreciate how quick but not rushed our appointments are! The office is super clean and our dentist is always willing to take time to answer our questions.
Amazing! My daughter age 3 went for her first time and all the staff were incredible with her! So patient and kind. Dr. Moody did a great job and I'd recommend him to anyone. My daughter said after we left "Mom, I think I love the dentist...I want to go again." Which for a three year old is a big deal. I'm so glad they made her first time such a positive experience.
I love taking my kids to South Valley Pediatric Dentistry. I ended up taking my kids here because I wanted a second opinion on all the work one of my kids needed, according to another dentist, and sure enough it turned out that she had healthy teeth. They have great customer service and they have great payment plans, and most important they are honest with what my kids need done. The ladies on the back are so sweet and patient with kids, Dr. Moody was so nice to my kids and took the time to answer all of my question and didn’t try to rush us out of there. I love Geri, she was so helpful on giving me all of the necessary information and payment options that I had available for my kids treatment. They all had face mask and they’re all taking the necessary measures to keep us safe through this tough time. Thank you so much SVPD, Geri ROCKS!!
We've been coming to South Valley Pediatric Dentistry for almost 10 years and love every visit. Dr. Bower and his hygienists know exactly how to calm nervous little ones while still caring for all their dental needs. I especially love that I can bring all of my kids at the same time and have us all in one big open space while they're getting their teeth cleaned. It makes it easy for me to bounce between all the kids. We love South Valley!
