All sales at the Southampton Hospital Foundation Thrift Shop benefit the Coalition for Women's Cancers at Southampton Hospital.
Since it opened, the Southampton Hospital Foundation Thrift Shop and its staff of hard-working and dedicated volunteers have raised nearly $5 million to support Southampton Hospital. Proceeds, earned from donations and sales have been used for many important capital improvements, patient care telemetry, and anesthesia equipment.
The Thrift Shop funded the renovation of Parrish Memorial Hall in 1995, helped to fund the purchase of a state-of-the-art Sterotactic Biopsy Machine for the Breast Health Center in 2001 and funded the purchase and installation of a new fire alarm system for the entire Hospital.
The success of the Thrift Shop is due to our incomparable volunteers, who prepare the merchandise for display and sales. When the Shop is not open volunteers can be found busily sifting through donated items, setting prices and arranging the merchandise in attractive displays.
Please call one of the Thrift Shop managers, Robin Page or Wayne Holmes, at (631) 204-0523 prior to donating large items. Donations are accepted Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
