Dr. Nash was thorough and kind. His assistant cleaned my teeth very well! Will be back for my 6mo. Back story: Went to Atl to have deep cleaning done, was quoted $350 with MetLife insurance. NEVER WENT BACK. Fast forward, moved back to Jackson, TN, visited this office after being rescheduled 4 times at Aspen Dental. First sight at Southern Family, clean and calm! They took my info pretty fast. Not to mention I got a call back to schedule me earlier than the original appointment so 5’s just for that! The assistant took my scans and noticed that I did indeed need a deep cleaning. They ran it through Cigna HMO and priced me significantly lower than my previous visit in ATL. She was thorough in her explanation and completed the work fairly fast. Dr. Nash came in verified that the work his assistant did was good. He checked for cavities, etc. all the normal stuff. I was out of the office within 1hr 30min. No complaints at this time.
Came here a few months back to get composite filling done on a front tooth and retainers made. The composite filling chipped within the first week and a gap was created between my two front teeth when the composite was being filed and shaped. Food now constantly gets stuck in between my two front teeth didn’t have this problem before. The retainers fell apart within the first week as well. Wouldn’t trust coming here ever again not even to try and fix the issues. Waste of money!
Dr Nash and his staff are the best. top-notch, best dental experience I've ever had. Second time I've had a cleaning here and I don't dread the next one
We have had very positive experiences with Dr. Nash and his competent and friendly staff. We drive 2 hours away to be seen by him, passing many other dentists. He is gentle and thorough. I don't use any anesthetics, so it is important to me to have a gentle dentist. We have both been pleased with his work.
I was referred to this office and even received an email from the Dentist that sounded so compassionate and caring. I got there. Did my X-rays. I wouldn’t consider it a consolation because he spent less than 30 seconds in the room with me and even less time look in my mouth. He knew how bad my situation was so I didn’t think anything of it at the time. I was given the impression they’d work with people without dental insurance as in payment plans Bc the person who referred me told me she was allowed to do payment plans. He decided to price my work at 12k and “gave me a discount” at 7k but still I was fine with the inflated prices because I was still under the impression that I could make monthly or biweekly payments. But I was wrong. They wouldn’t do anything unless I had half of the 7k and once I had that they would take an impression of my teeth for dentures but I’d have to bring the other half within 2 weeks or risk starting over payment wise. I currently can not hardly eat I’ve lost 40lbs in a month which would be fine except it’s not been lost the right way, I was in excruciating pain not long ago all night into the day into the evening and finally at 7 my husband took me to the ER. My doc has to call in antibiotics constantly and I have what appears to be two cysts deep in my gum tissue one above two different teeth. Not to mention how much self confidence I’ve lost. I don’t even bother with make up anymore. Why would I? I am not someone who cries but I left that office crying and cried off an on from 1:30-4 because I was so devastated and let down. I wasn’t asking for FREE work or even a fair price quote. Only that I pay monthly or biweekly. 300 for a basic extraction. 400$ for partially or fully impacted teeth. When I was younger i had 2 extractions plus IV sedation was 500 out of pocket. I felt like they assumed because I had made a gofundme that I had no money at all and couldn’t pay them when in fact we have money Bc my husband had a good job. It’s having a huge chunk of money at once. And dentists saying “we accept care credit” like it’s just soooo easy to get approved by them. And it’s not. It’s extremely hard. So I knew out credit score was 10 points below the lowest s rose they’d accept so I knew it was out as far as options go. I left this office feeling defeated and hopeless. I wasted my day and dropped my husband off at work an hour and a half early to make this appointment & for what? HUGE WASTE OF TIME. that’s what! I am tired of the lack of compassion. Everyone should have some type of options for dental care. She completely threw shade at helpings hands. Stating their dentures look real “plasticity “ as she put it. Even if that was true at least I’d have some teeth and be able to eat and smile like a normal human being. I don’t recommend this place if you do not have insurance especially or are self pay/cash patient. Your hopes will surely be shattered.
Awesome fast, friendly, fair, and has all the cool tools in the industry....would recommend to anyone .... I was a cash pay and treated very well...looking forward to going back and working with the recommend dental plan for me. it was refreshing not to have someone offering what you dont need.... A++++
After I called and even went to my REGULAR dentist with excruciating pain and was put off , I decided to call Dr Nash per my sisters recommendation and I am so very glad I did!!! His entire office treated me amazing and even performed a much needed root canal that day. Needless to say .... I have a new ddentist!. I cannot thank him enough!
Dr. Nathan Nash help to give my life back by making me smile from ear to ear, something I've never done. A full mouth implant allowed me to have the first time-I glowing open beam of perfect teeth! I smiled and cried happy tears at the same time! Jo H
I found myself in a weird spot with my front tooth veneer deciding to pop off midday on Saturday before Father’s Day. No one was opened and most were out of town or away with family. I called Dr. Nash and he was, like others, out of town. Then I get a call Saturday night that he came back early bc he didn’t want to leave me without a front tooth. He was literally in town for like 10 minutes when he saw me. He fixed my tooth and even set me up to prevent this from happening again. My kids and I have had fairly extensive dental work over the years and admittedly we’re a little cautious of dentists but my kids love seeing Dr. Nash and his great crew and after him going to great lengths to help me, I will only be going to Southern Family Dental! They are super knowledgeable, super friendly, and very fairly priced. Seriously great experience.
Dr. Nash and Ashley are nothing short of AMAZING!! They were extremely nice and down to earth and very understanding and patient with my nervousness! By far the best dentist I've ever been to! I will never go anywhere else!
