Park is more of a sports park not so much a play park although it does have a recently updated play area as well as a concession stand usually open during bigger planned games , such as school teams also league event games ... Good amount of parking spaces as well!..
This review is for the softball field complex only. The fields are average at best. The dugout areas are very small and narrow, not much room. The area behind home plate is very small meaning the backstop fence is only a few feet behind the batter's box. The rest rooms are small and not well maintained. Not my favorite place to play FHC tournaments.
We had a softball tournament there for the 60's. They had a food Station: hamburger, hot dogs,etc, water, etc.
Best shaded playground I've seen. My grandkids LOVED it
Its a beautiful park with baseball soccer and football fields. Play area was nice but located directly behind a soccer goal so as the players missed balls would fly towards the kids playing... and the bathrooms were locked
Wife loves to ride thru the park looking for gators
Nice facility. Stars off for no seats. No score board and no concessions. For a Varsity District Championship Game one would think there would be a stadium type set up.
I love it....my kids love it...alot of parking space...very clean and nice people never too crowded even when theres a game

Lakeland Parks & Rec are very good at keeping the ball fields in great condition. Also, the employee there are friendly and help us.
