Completely unprofessional, unorganized and potentially criminal. I asked for a form to be filled out with results for my insurance and they fought me on it for weeks because they "didn't do a physical exam". However in my medical record it says they did do a physical. So if they didn't do a physical then they are lying on legal medical documents pretty sure that's illegal.
Do not recommend if you want your health taken seriously. I just read my “notes” in a after visit summary. The rudest Dr. I’ve ever met in my life if you don’t want to help people get better what is the reason for your profession? The receptionist is rude. The dr I seen when I began coming was wonderful she left now I see why. but being told “ that’s not what we are here to talk about.” then brushing me off really made me upset. Apparently also Dr. Griffin also said that she spent 50% of her 15 minute procedure “talking”. Sorry I have questions before you cut into my body. Will not be returning and looking else where. To a office that actually cares about the health of the people.
Great office! Went there for both pregnancies and was glad I did. There was some minor complications with my second but the doctors were all very thorough and took time to explain everything. All the doctors are great in this office.
This is my first pregnancy so I’m not going to give a bad review based off one person, but I do not like Dr. Regal. She’s very condescending & I’m unsure if she’s ever had children, but acting like she did with hormonal me did not sit well. Just a rude know it all. Do not like her. Excited to meet the other doctors. I loved the nurse that saw before I saw Dr. Regal.
Was taking my friend to her appointment today and hit a deer and with new COVID-19 AAA rules you cannot get a ride with them to a rental. She called the gyno to cancel and we could hear the woman on the phone say, “who the hell cancels an appointment 30 minutes before—“, to whoever she was sitting next to right before she hung up. My friend had said she would call back today to reschedule, but it’s still unprofessional. If you have something negative to say about a customer at least wait until the phone is hung up. Won’t put the employees name on here but safe to say my friend doesn’t feel comfortable going back and will find a more welcoming place to go.
We delivered our first child with Sparrow Ob/Gyn in Okemos a few years ago, then relocated out of the state. When we moved back and found out we were expecting our second child, we knew we wanted to have the same care again. There are several doctors in the practice which makes it nice at delivery as you are not relying on just one doctor and hoping he or she is available that day or night. Dr. Barton delivered our son and the experience was the best we could have asked for, especially for our first child. We would be happy to have any of the doctors deliver our second child. The staff and nurses have always been courteous as well.
Went here when I found out I was pregnant . I got bounced around from doctor to doctor until my third trimester when I told them I wanted this one doctor. They were pretty professional and felt like I was in good hands. After I had my daughter I had horrible pains and went for a check up. They told me I had heartburn and to take over the counter medicine. A couple weeks later I found out in the E.R. I had a gallbladder that needed to be taken out ASAP. Turns out it’s a really common thing to have done after having a baby. Idk why the doctors and nurses didn’t think about that at all.
Dr. Pugmire is amazing! She is so down to earth that we felt very comfortable talking to her about all of our concerns during pregnancy. We will use her and the office for all of our children. Both the office in Lansing and Okemos are friendly and efficient!
Dr. Pugmire is absolutely amazing she actually listens and diagnosed me when other obgyns just brushed my concerns off. I just recently found out I'm pregnant and I'm happy with my choice in obgyn
If you love a cold reception and waiting for more than 45 minutes past your appointment time, this is the place for you. Plan at least 2 hours for a 30 minute appointment.
