Speck Pond Campsite

I stopped by steck pond the other day for sunrise. It is a quiet pond that is just off the road. The pond is relaxing and really pretty. While sitting there reading a book, a couple beavers crossed in front of me to go for a morning swim.

Great spot to relax, except for the road noise this is a great spot.

Couple of decent primitive camp sites around the pond, but the pond is just a short distance from the highway so you have some road noise. Restricted to just the area right around the pond. Lacks privacy for tent camping, but ok for small trailer camping.

Great place to camp and fish. It is a CNN pretty little lake and camping areas. Also several pick nick ares. No restrooms. They fob keep it mowed.

Neat little place. We haven't camped there but did visit and drive around. No one was there during our visit, so can't say how busy it is during weekends or holidays.

great place to let the dog run free!

Need to big picnic tables and cut some of the grass round upon other than that it's great

YOU MUST REGISTER / HAVE A PERMIT TO CAMP OR PARK HERE OR YOU MAY BE ACCOSTED BY POLICE OFFICERS WHO MAKE PEOPLE STAND IN THE COLD TO ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS FOR NO GOOD REASON.

Nice place with multiple spieces of fish.

Primitive campsite. Nice area for dry camping.
