This is an excellent park. The manager, Kim is fantastic, very helpful, always has solutions and answers to your questions. Most sites are full timers, very friendly and welcoming folks. The grounds are well maintained, beautiful landscaping and lots of amenities. Cabins are available for your guests and extra family members to rent. Weekly activities are great to meet folks as well as the chapel with Sunday services. We'll be back!
The management team here is outstanding. I called inquiring about an extended stay, much to late, for a winter season in Florida. The personnel stated there was nothing available for the size of my trailer, but they could put me on a waiting list. I was not surprised by this because their rates are fantastic. They called me back within a half hour and said they had a lot I may be interested in. I accepted site unseen. I am thrilled to be here, there is not a bad lot in the park, with plenty of trees and hedge rows. It was like 1,2 3 moving in. One can stay as busy or as relax as you want. All of the amenities one could wish for: pool, jacuzzi, work out room, canoes to rent and weekly ice cream socials. There is even a chapel on site. I feel like I moved home, I mean heaven, it is a wonderful place to be.
I can not say enough about this camp ground!! It is so laid back and nice. Nit a lot of kids at all! More like a place where snow birds from up north come and stay. It is so nice we have decided to return and stay longer in a few weeks. Very nice staff and they are always accommodating as much as possible! This lovely place is now on our places to stay for a lengthy stay!
Loved our stay at Sunset King Lake. We were able to enjoy all of the amenities and the grounds are well kept. Trash pickup is convenient, laundry and shower facilities are new and cleaned regularly, and the neighborhood feel was warming. We will be back!
Great place for camping but alot of older RV's in the park that look run down. Seems like it a retirement community instead of a vacation spot to go. I would have to say half the park is people hanging there clothes out on a clothes line with under garments. Not a place you should bring the kids to for vacation. Great pool and jacuzzi !! Best place to fish for large mouth bass!!!! It is a must bring the boat kind of place. They use to have boats but they took them out. Would be nice for them to have them back.. But under new management and it use to not be that way but we all know good thing have to come to an end .. Wish it was as nice as it was a couple of years ago. Maybe it will change!
Have not been there in y re ars.Would love to go back.Anyone k m.h ow the rates?I think we use to pay like $50a night. That was part of our weekends with kids growing up.Saurday morning breakfast for a $1.Good memories.I need a refresher course. KIDS HAVE NOW TURNED TO GREAT GRANDKIDS.Would love to show them family use to mean something.Really could. Deal with a jacuzzi and walking out the next morning to go fishing.
Some lots are small, but the employees are very nice , has fun activities, others who are in the resort are very friendly and welcome newbies ho take part.
Great park and beautiful lake! A lot of friendly full timers. Some times with a park that has full time residents it can get a little sketchy but this place was great ,very friendly and clean! Nice pool and a great RV space with full hook ups. Cute little playground for the kiddos, as well! On a bonus note we were very tired after driving and they have a Hungry Howie's that will deliver to your site
This was by far one of the best weeks we’ve had in years of camping. Facilities are fabulous and the staff is amazingly helpful! The scenery is to die for! Absolutely five plus stars! Thanks Kim for a great time !! You are so helpful and accommodating we truly appreciate you and your helpers !!!
What a wonderful camp ground. Kim and the staff here are some of the friendliest and outgoing people that give my stay here a very home like experience. The park is clean and very a very beautiful place on the lake. Thank you all for the great stay.
