Absolutely the worst ER I have ever been to. I went in on the 30th of June because I was feeling sick. They ran a blood test and a urine test, came back and told me I had a UTI. I've had UTIs in the past and I had NO symptoms of a UTI. They gave me a script and sent me on my way. I did not fill the script because I KNEW I did not have a UTI. I kept getting worse and worse, so I went back in on the 2nd of July. They yelled at me for not filling the script. About 30 minutes later a nurse comes in and tells me I did not have a UTI that the sample had been contaminated. They ran NO tests at all, didn't even check me, told me it was a viral respiratory infection and let me go. Later that night on the 2nd, a massive pain started in my stomach and I started vomiting. I had already been having other symptoms for 2 days, but this pain came out of nowhere and was bad. My husband brought me back in. I was completely dismissed because I have a history of anxiety. I've been dealing with anxiety for over 10 years, I know my anxiety symptoms, this was not anxiety and I was completely calm... I was in bad pain though. They were rude and refused to listen. Kept trying to push drugs on me instead of evaluating me. They did a urine and blood test, everything was normal. No one listened to my lungs, no one touched my stomach, no one did anything other than tests. They doctor comes in and tells me "It's all in your head and it's just your anxiety", at which point my husband tells him that I am not anxious at all, that I am in pain. Doctor refused to listen and just chalked everthing up to my anxiety and made me feel completely crazy with how he talked to me. You may have gone to medical school, but that doesn't mean you should have because you are terrible at dealing with and speaking to people. Needless to say I went to my primary first thing in the morning and was actually checked properly, and have a stomach ulcer. I was right, and these doctors, 3 times, 3 different doctors, were wrong! If you like to be made to feel crazy and treated very poorly, by all means, go here. If you'd like proper medical care, I'd strongly suggest going somewhere where the doctors actually listen and evaluate their patients! Worst worst worst place I have ever been.
They charged my father $1600 for a 6 mile ambulance ride where no medication or treatment was administered. They don't participate in any insurance networks so you have to pay the full amount, or they'll send you to collections. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, they finally picked up just to say "we can charge whatever we want because we don't participate in insurance". What a racket - I don't know how these people sleep at night. We should've just called an Uber instead or maybe a limousine, probably still would've been cheaper.
I brought my 85 year old mother to the Dover campus ER yesterday morning. The nursing staff and aides were kind and attentive. However the physician was impatient, spoke too quickly for my mother to understand what was being asked and often spoke over her. In addition it is difficult for people to understand what is being said when wearing a mask. My point is that elderly patients should be treated with kindness, respect and patience. They are intelligent but may not process information as quickly as they used to especially when experiencing pain. Doctors need training to treat all populations, young, elderly, disabled, etc. with respect and compassion.
Worst experience ever! Try to get information from staff, more specifically from Teresa Disaster Team Responder she did not tried to help as all she did was texting on her phone. Asked for Manager on shift who defended her behavior and was also extremely rude and would not even provide his name.
Nice young men, but injured me more. One dropped his heavy phone on my already sore left foot. And when then they hit me into the wall.
The ambulance service provided by Saint Clare ambulance #411, on Tuesday 12/07/2023 09:30 am from Randolph nj to Morriston medical center was extremely terrible, its unprofessional RACIST staff gives a lot to talk about both them and their hospital We feel discriminated against by society because of two people who are giving a service, treating people very horrible and giving a lousy service. At no time did they help my wife by treating us ugly as if everything was free. If they don't have qualified personnel, please don't. Pay attention that if we call 911 it is because we have an emergency and we need solutions, I only have to say that life is a carma and everything has its pay if you wish badly you will receive and still a little extra.
