The only Dr so far that actually listened to my needs & followed thru. Not much of a bedside manner, however. Update: Recently Aug. 2022 contacted this “Dr” about an appointment and he hung up on me!! He did not call back and would not answer the phone when I tried to call back. How totally unprofessional!Apparently, he’s back practicing in PSL, but he’ll never see me as a returning patient. How ironic, since I was one of the few patients who give him a positive review earlier.
After seeing doctors in Ohio and Florida, I finally found Dr. Schmidt. He ran tests and diagnosed me with epilepsy. Late one Saturday night I called the office try to talk to the on call doctor. Dr. Schmidt called within five minutes, and talked me through my problem. I also have had a broken neck, and he has help me see what was causing pain that hadn't gone away for years. Further, I have an auto immune problem that has gone undiagnosed, and he had me go to the PCP in his office, and she immediately helped me. They went out of their way to obtain Ohio records, and they are all there for me every single bed time I need them. I am over fifty, and I can honestly say this is the best doctor's office I have ever been lucky enough to be treated by. I sleep better at night knowing they are on my side. Thank you to Dr. Schmidt and CNP Jennifer Burgess. You are the best!!
Dr. Shmidt is great neurologist. He properly diagnosed and treated my mother with all of her neurological conditions. Thank you and your staff ,especially medical assistant Ashley, for professional, knowledgeable and compassionate care. Highly recommend and appreciate!
I give Dr. Schmidt 5 stars for excellent service and 3 stars for his staff who have very poor phone etiquette. If you're looking for an experienced Neurologist to asses your needs, he's your guy. Would highly recommend.
He’s a great doctor. I was very sick and he diagnosed my problem and put me on meds which made me better. He spends time with you, answers all your questions and is very caring
Good doctor, terrible staff. Called multiple times and the staff never relayed the message to the doctor. If you have to talk to the doctor just go in because the staff won't do their job.
He is an amazing doctor. He takes his time with every patient. We are highly satisfied with his service

The staff was remarkably slow to answering my questions. After far too long on hold across multiple locations I gave up to pursue help somewhere else.
He's a great doctor and his staff are very nice also.
