St. Francis School was founded in 1985 with a mission of providing excellence in education without exclusivity in admissions. The school now serves 380 students, from preschool to eighth grade, from a variety of backgrounds and learning abilities.
St. Francis School is an independent, interdenominational school providing high-quality education to children from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. The school is not affiliated with any church or religious denomination or other supporting organization.
St. Francis does not discriminate based on religion, race, ethnicity, economics, or academics. The target class size is 15 students in elementary and middle school. Students come from 62 zipcodes around Austin. Although St. Francis doesn't test for admission and accepts students with a variety of learning abilities, most students end up testing at least one full grade level ahead.
