go to somewhere else. its closed Fridays so you cannot call them for three days of the week. The shuffling around with the automated systems seem to be set up to discourage patients from even trying to contact St. Luke's Clinic – Behavioral Health Services. So If you do go there , good luck.
Service was great and the employees really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and make sure you’re taken care of.
It's a good clinic. Most doctors there are very supportive, though their skills vary quite a bit. Ben Saxey was an awesome doctor when he worked here, and always remembered our conversations. One doctor I had though seemed to have a little difficulty with remembering past conversations. That's fine seeing the distance between appointments, although it isn't the best care either. But the front desk staff are always a delight to say hi to, also. I've enjoyed coming here.
My provider is good but it's funny that I can almost never get anyone to answer I know it rings and all the locations but some how I can never get anyone to pick up I called 6 times today at different times none of which were during the lunch period still had to message my doctor instead this has happened more than once seriously
They actually listen ... And discuss methods of treatments and steps to come not just walk all over you ... And tell you how it's gonna be
I feel comfortable and safe speaking with all the staff. They are friendly and attentive.
I love the PA that I have had to interact with. J Scanlan was professional, empathetic, and very concerned to help me. However, the nursing staff on numerous occasions was very unpleasant and difficult to work with. Very hard to converse with on the phone to get things done. And every time I have gone, the front desk has acted put out that a patient was there in front of them. However, when called they were wonderful to work with. They seemed to care more on the phone than with an in person visit. I continue to go only because of the J Scanlan.
One star is more than they deserve at St. Luke’s Mental Health Services!! Every appointment I have scheduled with Dr. Murphy has either been changed, rescheduled or canceled. Just today I showed up to my appointment only to be told that Dr. Murphy had left for the day. Then came the excuses....”we tried calling you but your phone wouldn’t ring” then it was “we couldn’t even leave a message” yet, all morning and afternoon I was receiving calls and getting voicemails from other sources. Not from Dr. Murphy’s office. No missed calls. This is so discouraging! Not to mention frustrating! And the way the office staff treat you, it’s as if they could care less. After all “I don’t own him” the supervisor states. Makes one wonder if they even care about anyone’s mental health but their own. Do they have any idea what it does to someone’s emotional state when they’ve waited months to FINALLY get the chance to talk to their doctor only to be told you can’t! That he’s not there?! Geez! How is that supposed to make you feel? Not better. That’s for sure.
I made an appointment 2 months ago that was cancelled for medical reasons of the Dr., that I fault no one for. But when I called to reschedule I was told it would be another 2 months before he could see me, despite the fact that I wasn't the one who cancelled the appointment. This isn't how mental health works. If someone is seeking psychiatric advice and/or medication, making them wait not only 2, but now up to 4 months is irresponsible and dangerous. Appointments that the provider had to cancel should be accommodated if even at some later inconvenience for them.
Respectful of my condition and was super friendly
