Star motel is older but I have been there for several months with my small dog for a work project and it has been quiet. The staff has been amazing. Bit has larger refrigerators than avg hotel which works best for long stays.
We have stayed here a few times. Owner Dodie is a very nice lady and so is the house keeper Elaine. One of the best rates we have ever gotten and we travel a lot. Mexican restaurant next door is awesome too.
Can’t Beat their weekly Rates... Nice Family owned business... I was surprised by the Huge flat screen TVs.... Got to watch my favorite show on Netflix so that was a Big Game changer .... trendy bedspreads... Great water pressure.... Location was Perfect... would be Happy to stay with the Star Motel Again...
I've stayed at the Star about fifteen times over the past 2 years. The rates are great the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and helpfull. This is a great place for out of towners who have kids going to college at Wartburg. You don't have that long drive home after the game, concert etc. If you really want to be orange ask for the orange room. It's ORANGE! and kinda cool. There's also a great Mexican restaurant next door the serves pretty decent food.
For being a construction worker this place is ok we had to change rooms because of flooding and our bad was ruined the WiFi is awful you can’t even use google the beds are decent but not something special other than that everything eles is okRooms: 2/5
Was able to meet up with an out-of-town friend as he was traveling for business. Star Motel is easy to get to and has a restaurant right next door which is great Mexican food
The room we stayed in was called the Hawaii room. Nice size room and very clean. Price was very reasonable. Enjoyed the stay, and will be back soon.
Extremely friendly customer service and the room was super clean. I always stay there when I'm in town.
Good management and maintenance personal. Comfortable rooms and affordable. Fast internet and the A.C. works great!!
On a one-to-five basis I would give you a 0 0 0 .1 had to go through three rooms to get one one head vomit in the floor second one the beds wasn't made and they told us to me I said see you and the third was ok the county should actually check into this place cuz it's not right
