Waverly Motel

Thank God they are closing this place down. They really needed to .. it had bugs, the bathroom door was hanging off the hinges, it had holes all in the curtains and bed spread. You could him the washer and the pipes making loud noises inside my room. You can't have any company come by what so ever . They people that work there constantly are watching you and being noisy. I didn't have towels in my room the pillows was so stained and nasty and didn't have pillow cases on them. They wanted 70 dollars for a room. I didn't pay for it and wouldn't.. but I ended up leaving a couple hours of being there and went to a different motel

This place is a JOKE. . THE OWNERS ARE CROOKS. IT TAKES THE 1ST PLACE POSITION FOR Nastiest Place we have ever stayed at. The older couple that cleaned the rooms. ,Jr &, Becky The owners took advantage of them both, Only paid them 50 a week for the both of them. They were worked to death. Bless Becky's Soul. . This hotel is filled with roaches. From baby to mama roaches. This hotel also asked for the last four digit of my social and my DOB AND ID. Never once did I go to the front desk. Super sketchy because hotels DO NOT EVER require that especially for 60$!!!!! This place is absolutely terrible. Of course I will never get the 60$ back but atleast I can alert others before falling in this trap. We stayed two hours and had to leave the bugs were so bad. I’m sorry I don’t like to talk bad but this is just a problem.

I gave this "motel"one star but it didn't deserve it and I couldn't give it 1/4 star. Our whole stay has been terrible. We have been here since Saturday and have not received towels washcloths and toilet tissue. The bedsheets have not been changed and our room has not been cleaned. We went to the office to talk to someone and there was nobody there. We had to go buy towels washcloths and toilet tissue. There was no breakfast or coffee available and the place has no pool. If you are looking for a room don't come here unless there's nowhere else to stay then please look elsewhere. 55.00 a night is way too much.

It is very over-priced. The rooms are clean and the housekeeper is awesome at her job. The owners are very concerned with money, money, money!! For the price I paid here fpe a week, I should have went to a hotel with a pool. Also they charge a $10 pet fee, even though the whole room is tiled floors. They need to come down on price. For $221.00/wk I could've gotten a room with pool and free breakfast.

On 5/24 after my house burnt down, this place was supposed to be newly reopened and cleaned up, so we wanted to try it. Upon arrival we were told to come back in 2 hours with cash. Ok, we came back in 2 hours then the owner told us told since my husband didn't have an ID we couldn't rent a room. My husbands wallet was burnt up in the fire and we had our young son with us, far from the usual druggies that rent here. Seems like a business that was days from permanent closure would take good business with guaranteed payment from The Red Cross of cash! We will never go back and there is no law that every person in the room needs ID, I had ID to rent room with; especially since less than 10 hours before our house had burnt down, we almost died!

I stayed here when I first came to Chattanooga for work. The managers are rude and treat you like they are doing you a favor instead of you helping them. It is very noisy and has tweekers and druggies running around all night. Police are constantly there for someone or some disturbance. The only good thing I can say is that I did not see any bugs. The housekeeper is a nice person and she tries to stay on top of things but the managers will not fix. They charge for every extra and price gouge. If you need a 'go-to' place in a hurry, this will do, but keep looking.

It is the nastiest place, I have ever been too. Did not even tried to stay. The room smelled like a old bar that's been smoked in for years after years. It had roaches. I only stepped in the door, and saw bugs walked out went up to the office to get my money back, and the disgusting guy that took my money would only give me back $50 of it because he tried to make me believe that the bank will keep $15 of it because I used my bank card. I called the police and they heiped me out. That place needs to be shut down.

Nope. Not to be confused with the Waverly in Atlanta or anywhere nice. This dicey motel is the sketch of sketchy. I would not want my enemy to make a reservation not knowing it is fit for use. I have not stayed they but have seen it from the parking lot next door and have no idea how it passes inspection for business.
