Stein Mart is one of my favorite clothing stores. Plus they also sell beautiful housewares for the home, lingerie, shoes & linens. I love to shop here for Christmas. They always have good deals. They also offer a variety of discount coupons very often. I've been shopping here for many years & I'm never disappointed with their merchandise.
The store location is closing out...hate to see Stein Mart go. They had some really good bargains and markdowns on the bedding, linens and housewares. I was able to get some nice perfumes at great markdown prices.
Great place for discounted designer clothing. Prices are reasonable. Selection varies, but not extensive. Small petite and plus size sections. Excellent store for men's golfing attire.
The ladies that work at the store are amazing! They went above and beyond with their customer service. I was looking for another piece of furniture to match the one I had purchased at another Stein Mart earlier that day and they made sure they had it and that it was in good condition before I drove out to Hurst. They even sent me pictures of the item! Definitely one of the best Stein Mart I've ever been to! Thank you ladies!!! :
Stein Mart has a great line of clothing to choose from. When I was there they were having one of their great sales and many people were there shopping. The only thing I would say about this Stein Mart it need to be relocated to a bigger location so you could move about more freely. There is too much merchandise and you could easily miss something that you may be really looking for.
Recently was told I was signing up for a "customer rewards" type of card, turned out that the employee at the register had signed me up for an actual credit card. Now an original $44 purchase has turned into well over $300 because of fees, not to mention the $100+ already paid for original purchase. I'll take a majority of the blame because in this day and age I should be smart enough to know better. But felt as though I was manipulated and taken advantage of, so that an employee could meet some sort of quota. Absolutely will not recommend anyone to this store, allowing employees to take advantage of their unsuspecting customers.
The most unpleasant exchange that I had to deal with. No hello, no thank you, keep mentioning I had to return 60 days ago. Mean while I never told her I wanted refund. I wanted store credit because I know my items I bought were 3 months ago. In the back of the receipt, the policy says after 60 days return with recipe, customers get the current selling price of the item. But she only gave me 40% of my items and said it was on clearance price now. I was not satisfied with the answer. I went to the section where I bought my items in the past and picked up the same item that obviously they still sell here to prove that the item I returned still being sold here with same full price as I bought. Not clearance! I supposed to get refund of full price. She blamed that because it was different color, I don't know, I don't know why I couldn't scan your recipe....I don't know this I don't know that. Anyways I used the store credit less than 40% they gave me and bought something else just because I never want to return here ever again!
I love Stein Mart. I would never think to shop here if I wasn't related to somebody who worked there but in regards to long-term happiness Steinmart almost always delivers. There are very few purchases I have made that I regret today. And I honestly haven't been able to wear out many of the things that I've purchased from there And not always with a discount I will have you know. Beyond that the employees especially the ones that I'm not related to have never steered me wrong. The one that I am related to and I have some major differences in opinion when it comes to style. Anyway I do love Stein Mart so I'm glad there's always been one near me.
Great selection and great prices however on the weekend they need more cashiers. Two stations open 6 of us waiting to check out. Yet the manager didnt bother calling another employee up and yes there were plenty of help.
By far the worst shopping experience. You have a designated line for check out, yet when the gentleman made eye contact, we started over only to be out of turn when a lady did NOT follow directions and it appeared we were cutting line. Not one person took responsibility. Sad! There needs to be someone managing the line OR your cashiers need to tell folks the line starts there! Your loss, Kohl's gain.
