Steinmart is a higher end department store. it isn't mainly a woman's and men clothing store. In the women's department you can find dresses, tops, bottoms, skirts, activewear, swimwear, foundations, jewelry, scarves, hats and purses. The men's department carries all manner men's clothing as well. There is also a shoe department for men's and women's foot wear. They also have linen, housewares, house decor, luggage, and other things for the home. The store itself is well-lit, clean, well-organized and very neat. It has handicapped accessible parking, entrance and restrooms. The truth be known I forgot how much I liked Stein Mart. I haven't been for a bit but I will be back soon. They have a great selection of clothing and other goods that you will not find anywhere else.
Great sale! I love the fact that I can find one of a kind items that aren't seen everywhere I go. Prices were excellent! I bought 4 cocktail dresses for $110 total. I paid over $100 for 1 similar dress at a department store awhile back. I will definitely go back.
Love this store! Excellent choices! Bold, bright colorful fabrics as well as Jean's and t-shirts. Lots of dresses and skirts too. I've purchased quite a few things here in the last year. They have menswear and kids clothes as well as housewares also. High quality brands like Michael Kors. This is my first choice when I need clothes. Absolutely love this store!
The name brands are top notch here and if you catch a sale you can get them at a steal! I love the quality of the merchandise and the fact the tags are not blacked out like some stores. I am a huge fan of Ivanka Trump's line and love they have it here . Her clothes are perfect for the office. The store takes the extra step in wrapping or hanging your things just like a high end designer shop. Excellent customer service!
I was helped by a very competent woman who helped me find jeans. I wanted one brand, but found another, which I love. They didn't have my size in petite, but regulars fit nicely. She was very nice.
Very poor customer service today. The manager insisted on repeating 4-5 times that "The new store policy would not allow me the $10.00 off coupon unless I had the newspaper coupon". I would have to drive 30 minutes home and 30 minutes back to store depending on Holiday traffic just to pick up the paper coupon. Why not be more considerate in the holiday spirit of customer appreciation and use their store copy of the coupon ? After shopping 1 hour and trying on clothes after that, I left my purchase of $200.00 at the cashier desk and returned home. I will not endorse this store and will share my story with others in my community. I am not a contented customer. The shocker is that exactly one week ago, the cashier used the desk copies of the active coupons for my purchase! Not cool, Stein Mart people!
Stein Mart just recently opened in Lady Lake and sits off the road behind McDonald's. It is adjacent to pasture stocked with black cows grazing contentedly accompanied by white birds at their feet. The animals seem oblivious to the noisy cars and shoppers just over the fence. The store is a real treat to shop in and is full of clearance racks and discounted clothes and household items. We spent about an hour in the store just in the jewelry department, which has some terrific bargains and loads of choices. It's never crowded and is handicap accessible. It's a fun place to shop.
Customer service is always great. Returns are very easily done with the receipt if purchased within 30 days. If they return exceeds 30 days there is a store credit which I think is reasonable.
I was looking for a fitted mattress pad, they only seemed to have two choices at over $50 to choose from. Otherwise the store was well staffed and we'll organized.
They have great prices and selection but like today they were having a 12 hr sale and they REALLY had GREAT prices! You can always find something at Stein Mart to be proud of! Newest styles and lowest prices!
