Extremely happy with our experience and purchases with Sterling House. We had an overwhelming amount of furniture to buy after renovating our main floor; spent a long time searching websites, and going to stores to get a sense of what we wanted. After our first visit to Sterling House, we had a plan we were confident in. Christina and Peter listened to our ideas and criteria and then shared their recommendations. Their expertise was priceless, from design considerations to comfort and fabric durability. Our furniture was carefully delivered and assembled with no issues. We really appreciate how well they protected our freshly renovated surfaces. The furniture looks amazing, I’m so pleased with the quality, how great the fabrics look and feel, and how comfortable everything is. Highly recommend shopping at Sterling House.
We bought these beautiful kitchen stools from Peter. He and his team gave us great service, and the prices at Sterling House are very competitive. We highly recommend Sterling House to anyone looking for both beautiful furniture and great pricing.
I walked into this store by chance. I didn't really think they would have what I was looking for but they did. And Cristina was so helpful! No pushy sales, she just made everything really easy. Then, my order was delivered on time. After a couple of weeks, although I love my purchase, I had some concerns about the fabric. Cristina offered more than one solution and even went above and beyond to do some research. Service really doesn't get better than this.
We’ve been working with sterling house for many years and they are unbeatable in service and quality. Bought a bedroom set from them in Ontario and ten years later it is still in perfect condition. More recently, we moved to Vancouver and worked with Sterling House to have a bedroom set shipped to BC. Smooth and seamless process. Peter was as always a pleasure to work with. The bedroom set arrived in perfect condition and Peter even helped trouble shoot during the assembly to ensure everything was done correctly. I am going to remain a life long customer and would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for quality furniture with great craftsmanship! What a wonderful experience. Peter and Cristina were so helpful in ensuring we purchased exactly what we wanted. They took the time to deal with us listening to our requirements. Delivery was on time and professional. My wife and I highly recommend this very professional business.
Sterling is great to work with if you are purchasing something from them, they are eager to help and see the sale through. Once you need to get in touch with them for a repair, replacement, status of an order that was placed, etc., they ghost you. Specifically I have been dealing with Cristina over the past few years as we made numerous purchases through her. Very pleasant to deal with...however does not follow up, and does not return calls or email when she says she will. At this point she has been storing my cushion replacement from the manufacturer for over 6 months. My husband went to pick it up one day, but she did "not have the time" to look for it and informed him she would have it delivered. Also stated that if it was not delivered by the weekend, WE should follow up with HER! That was in March! I have sent emails and she has yet to respond. Maybe once they read this review, I will finally get a response, as this is exactly what happened to a family member of mine. Seems to be a pattern at Sterling House Interiors.
I just purchased furniture for a third time from this store. Peter and Christina have been a pleasure to deal with over the years. They carry quality furniture at a great value for money. They have always had great after sales service as well and treat me like a friend every time I visit. I will continue doing business with them for many years to come and recommend my family and friends. I purchased a beautiful Decorest sectional and chair from them this time. I ordered a L-sectional from them recently. Very happy with the service and quality. The sales person Cary was really helpful in listening to our requirements and suggesting something that fits it unlike other furniture stores who were very keen to sell us their specials and some even going to the point of convincing to change our requirement. Cary spent about 2-3 hours in between 3 visits until we finalized our requirement without rushing us through it. So If you are looking for custom size and color sofa with firm seat cushions on your sofa at a reasonable price, definitely check them out. Not many furniture stores have this option of firm seating and who can customize the sofa for you at a reasonable price. They do. Highly recommend.
Terrible service. Took forever to ship a pair of stools. They arrived defective. Now they want a 25% restocking fee to refund as well as charging me for shipping TO and FROM?! Worst furniture store ever!
We have been shopping at Sterling for years. Quality for sure for a reasonable price. We have furnished almost every room in the house and the durability of everything has stood up to their promises. All this along with knowledge and friendly service, I definitely recommend Sterling.
