Summer Enrichment Programs for Kids at SUNY Plattsburgh
Youth in the North Country can learn about science, technology, nature, art, history, literature and more through this fun summer enrichment program. Designed for youth ages 5 through 14 and hosted by SUNY Plattsburgh's College Auxiliary Services, the classes are offered at various times throughout July and early August. Individual courses generally run for 5 days and cost from $95 to $195, depending on the course.
Summer Safari programs are designed for children to function in an atmosphere dedicated not only to individual growth but also to group cohesion. The intent of Summer Safari is to offer educationally enriching and fun summer programs for children. Instructors are recruited for their knowledge in specific subjects and their desire and ability to work with children. Summer Safari programs are self-supporting with no state funding or grant support.
