We stayed here for a month and had a great experience. While this park is basic in amenities it makes up for that with trees for shade and an "in the woods" feel. Some sites have cable, some have concrete pads, the rates are reasonable, and the location can't be beat. Quick drive to Foley and the beaches at Gulf Shores / Orange Beach. Another reason we picked this park is the proximity to a cell tower which is critical for us working from home. Great cell coverage. The park says they have WIFI but they don't have the modern equipment to cover the entire park or provide enough bandwidth. It really comes down to what you're looking for. Long term stay folks are friendly and nice. We will stay again next time we're in the area. Thanks Betty!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Mrs. Betty welcomed us when we arrived and showed us to our spot. We brought our 36 foot Mobile Suites 5th wheel with me, my wife, youngest daughter and 2 dogs. Concrete parking, walking trail for the dogs, friendly people, and conveniently close to the beach. Definitely recommend this place!
READ before you go. The owner is EXTREMELY rude. Takes zero responsibility for anything. Slumlord even for weekly stays: Everyone speaks horrible of her. Place floods like crazy. Bathrooms are filthy! The shower curtains are probably 10 years old. Laundry room sucks. No background checks or even id requirements. Felons dream. No kids. Everyone stays inside and is not friendly. Worst place we have ever stayed in our life! Bathrooms and laundry close constantly. You are also required to do your own lawn care with a mower. She also blatantly lies. Plan on paying for private internet and cable. Horrible service and neither of those. Total false advertisement!
Beautiful, clean, and reasonably priced place to park with large mature shade trees and lilacs level trailer surface with all the hookups and a bath house. Everything you need. Perfect distance away from the busyness of the shore! Will stay again for sure.
Camping here for two months. Clean, convient, not crowded. A good hombase when you are RVing 800 miles from home. It is less than 5 miles to the beach and it only takes 2 right turns to get to the beach.
Nice quiet place to stay not too far from the beaches and a very large outlet mall .
Came for the shrimp festival, camp site was only $450.00 for a month, so we're staying the month of October. Not a true vacation park, but clean, quite and really close to the gulf state park.
Pros: -conventiently located to beaches and Foley area -great customer service from Miss Betty -essential services of electric, water, sewer worked Cons: -interior roads and pads left much to he desired. They have poured some new concrete pads but many sites still need done. Overall, lots of dirt and mud on the sites. I'm understanding they are likely still recovering from Hurricane Sally, but the roads and sites are sub-par -advertised cable and WiFi but neither worked -no amenities like pool, playground, dog park -overpriced $50 for an overnight stay Overall, I would skip this park for better options in the area
Great little mom an pop rv park nothing fancy but neither is the price and less than 5 miles to the ocean. Betty owner is awesome
You get what you pay for. Not very well kept at all. No fires, dogs and cats running loose everywhere and dogs bark all day and night. Bathhouse needs major work. Laundry is closed when it rains. Cheap but is it worth it?! Not if u like to sleep at night or have a campfire or use shower house or do laundry
