My husband and I have been living at Sunrise on The Green since May 2016. We are extremely happy here. We just signed a new lease for another year. The staff from Maintenance is wonderful. Any emergency they’re here for you. Our Property Manger, Jodi is so professional and sweet, and helps you with all your rental needs and anything you need for your apartment. I always felt very safe here. Across the street there’s a Walmart. The entrance of the complex has bus stops going North & South on University Dr. Very large rooms so as you can tell My husband Wayne and I highly recommend Sunrise on the Green!
If you are looking for rental and want it to have peace and a clean environment? Then This apartment community IS NOT FOR YOU. Terrible apartments; old apartments in a high price range for the neglect management whose treat tenants horribly due do their legal status. Is a hell community of gossip that you most stay away. Hallways always dirty; when it rains this community turns into a lake; cars under the water; hallways nicely pack in sand and water that you literally need a boat to get to your front door. There is not security at all; if you have a decent job and better level educational Please stay away from this rental. Best wishes.
Stay away. We haven't been here for 2 months and we already had a package stolen and a motorcycle. As I'm typing this we are filing a stolen vehicle report. We thought it was safe seeing others around the area. We even had it locked up. Don't live here if you nice things.
Warning: Do not move here. While increasing rent may be normal even in a place where appliances and dwellings are old and never updated. The parking situation is deplorable. There are only a few guest spots for hundreds of units. They are all up front to create the illusion of a standard parking situation. Neighbors fight for guest parking and have to have cars towed when their spot is the last left and gets taken. Also the tow truck company can tow your vehicle if you break one of the twenty parking rules. And they will with out remorse. If an older or pregnant woman parks for a second to take groceries in she will be towed and if you catch them towing they extort you on the spot so they can pocket the cash illegal. AND WORSE OF ALL the few guest parking spots are often painted over and turned into a new spot for new tenants who then have less guest spots for themselves, they just don't know it yet. A spot you could park in yesterday will get you towed away today. Cost of towing: $175.0 first day $100.0 per day thereafter and no culpability for damage to your vehicle common.
these apartments are full of moldes roaches and owners are not willing to fix anything.. parking is another issue no space for guest parking and you never know when tour car could be towed for no reason some times. manager of the property is rude and never willing to help any person. they had pool but not maintained and closed down. no place for kids to play. hole on roads. laundry messed up and machines leaks water. bad community I am ready to out of here.
I'm not a golfer. Driving through the course is such a beautiful site.

And yet a year after the original post is posted, the parking dilemma still continues. I've paid $280 in the matter of three days because of this parking issue. I am so frustrated that I am willing to break the lease at all costs. There is no way I am going to be living like this, as to where this is going to become a common thing.
Please beware of where you decide to park your automobile. If you're visiting in the evening or late night hours be sure to get a recommendation from the host as to where you should park becuz I believe the towing company will begin towing unauthorized vehicles beginning about 11pm / 12 midnight.
Hello to all , first of all this place close to all the amenities like wall mart , wall greens and restaurants and for kids , yeah agree with you guest parking is hard to find , but for the money you pay for the rent is full value and also this place is very safe , i left so many times car open with lap top even kids bicycle was never stolen the golf ground is good , if you expect calmer and safer place is this , rest of other who are leaving bad reviews can go and pay expensive place and have peaceful life they dream off , the manager of this place amazing , all cheers up for good and affordable community !!!!
