We’ve opened 65+ acres of our Madras, Oregon farm to travelers from near and afar to provide a super clean, extremely organized and totally awesome campground experience to witness the 2017 Solar Eclipse in Totality!
The Sunset Solar campground is in the Path of Totality and located 2 miles west of Madras’ City Center offering 2 minutes and 2 seconds of Solar Eclipse Totality! And amazing sunsets to boot!
We’re Offering Five Nights, Six Days of Sun, Moon, Stars, Sunsets Galore and Solar Totality!
Starting Thursday, August 17 spend five nights and six days camping under the brilliant Central Oregon stars. Wake up with the sun. Watch the sun set behind Mt. Jefferson. Take moonlit walks. Enjoy the nightly Perseid meteor shower (talk about a bonus!). And, on Solar Eclipse Day, Monday, August 21, experience the natural phenomena of a lifetime—Total Solar Eclipse 2017 at Sunset Solar Campground.
Chill out and bask in the moment through Tuesday, August 22 to extend the experience one more day, not to mention catch up on some ZZZs after a weekend full of Solar excitement.
