We are part of the Foodtown supermarket cooperative, which is a group of over 65 stores, sharing our buying power to bring you the lowest possible prices. Different families own different stores throughout the New York / New Jersey / Pennsylvania region.

We are a family- run business, owned and operated by the Katz family. We have been in the grocery store business since 1956 when Paul Katz opened his first supermarket in the Bronx (on 204th Street). His son Sydney joined him in 1962 and grandsons Daniel and Noah joined in the late 1980’s. Today, along with our great associates, we operate 13 supermarkets in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, The Bronx, Putnam, Dutchess, and Delaware counties.

We love the grocery business. Our ultimate goal is to offer you a great, friendly, clean, warm place to shop. We have all the advantages of a big chain with competitive prices (being part of the larger cooperative) plus the benefits of being a family run business. We must add that we are very thankful of all our associates who work so hard and do a great job stocking our stores and taking care of you, our customers. We could never do it without them !! Thank you to all our associates !!

We have competitive prices. We would like you to know that we make sure that we have competitive prices with all the major supermarkets. We have all the practices in place in our company to make sure we have competitive prices. We have people that go to all our competitors, big chain stores and small stores, and check the “market basket” of items; the top 800 or so selling items across all stores. We check those prices and make sure that we are always competitive.

Last but not least, WE THANK YOU !! We are so appreciative of all our customers for their business. Prices are realistic. Selections are unique to the American table. Exotic and Imported items.are few. Be sure to check out the cool  chef at the deli. Stoe is always clean and filled with enthusiastic and attentive crew members.  4 stars because they followed as if iwere stealing

This is a great super market, I go here all the time when I go to Bed Sta Brooklyn. This super market have almost everything you need in daily food wise . And other items other than food plus you can spend hours in there if you are a good shopper like I am . It's nice in there and you should check it out for yourself.

Polite and courteous staff.  When I had questions in general they’ve always been helpful.  Great selection of all products.  Clean store.  Also, love the delivery service as well and that they have early hours, which is best for me.  Green points are convenient.  Happy Customer!!!

PLEASE NOTE: They close before 11pm. If listed otherwise, please ignore. It’s a COMPLETE LIE.  I arrived here 7 mins before closing and was turned away. The security kept me outside and management was incompetent and insistent on not doing their job. The manager and security were impossible. As I had family to feed The manager, Carlos, was insistent on closing before 11PM.  I’ve lived here for years and never had a problem.  All pictures were taken before 11 pm  The last 2 pictures are of the manager letting a male client in after 11.

It was great. I got a really nice view on my way out the super store!

They’ve got what you need, but the produce i buy from here esp fruit is consistently moldy and way past freshness.

My experience here was terrible. The ppl literally will say they're going to get a manager and have you waiting forever. Then come back without the manager and and ask you to wait to speak with then even longer. How are people going to be able to work there if there are just lies being told from the workers?

This foodtown is pretty decent. There is a wide variety of items at this location and some of the items are hard to find at other grocery stores. Since it's close, I like to run here to get refrigerated pet food. I can't find it most places and the price isn't terrible

The best supermarket in town. Large selections of everything. Although some of the cashiers can attempt to be more pleasant. I travel from downtown brooklyn to my old neighborhood of Bed Stuy.

, you will have to pay attention to the expiration date of some product, I have occasionally returned some product that has expired  , I only do my shopping in the store only when I am in a hurry because the prices are a little higher ,
