Me and my fours sons chartered 2 boats for red fishing. Capt Matt and Capt Chase were great! I can’t say enough how much fun we had and how enjoyable both of these captains were. I have been on many fishing charters and know when I am dealing with knowledgeable guides and these guys knew what they were doing. Fishing was slow but they were able to put us on fish and both boats limited out in about 45 minutes. We will certainly be back with these guides and strongly recommend them for your trip!
Capt. Scott was awesome. He got us right on the Tuna in the morning and it was a blast. We spent the afternoon trying to get a swordfish and were able to land one! Definite a trip we will never forgot. Booking process was easy and straight forward. If you’re looking to make lifetime memories chasing big fish I cannot recommend super strike high enough. Awesome experience.
Had a great day with Capt Scott and Ashton tuna fishing yesterday. Day started with some motor issues and then we fought some nasty weather at the fishing grounds. It got like Deadliest Catch without the crabs out there but the Freeman 37 handled it like a champ. Got where we got to be with all our teeth intact and with about four hours left we immediately caught a tuna on the first drift. Then it turned into a party out there and like 5 other boats showed up. Everyone was getting on a nice rotation and behaving besides this one guy that was doing donuts around everyone in his yellowfin. BlackMagic or something charters, definitely pushed the fish down and us to rig#2 where we boated two more fish till he came over to oxygenate the surface waters around us with his motors and send the tunas somewhere else. The joys of tuna fishing. We'll be back.
Highly recommend Super Strike for anyone who wants an exciting fishing trip. It’s been a long time bucket list item for me to catch a yellowfin tuna, and me and my buddies were able to do that as well as land a 157 pound monster. Capt Willy and Deckhand Eddie did a great job, putting us on the fish and making sure they got in the boat. We will definitely be doing another trip with you guys. Thank you!!
Another great weekend with SuperStrike. This group is very professional and works hard to get you on the fish. Captain Bob and Captain Matt went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Since they offer inshore, offshore and lodging, you can book everything with them. It makes planning easy. Can’t recommend them enough. I have booked with them 5 times now and while the fishing is not always on that’s fishing I know what to expect from the guides and the lodging.
All my dreams came true. Thank you Venice Louisiana. Captian Willy B went way beyond what is expected of a guide and did not disappoint. Michelle instantly answered any dumb question I came up with. This was a very easy trip to organize. The red fishing was wonderful. Captian Matt was very helpful and informative. Our group appreciated the time spent with everyone. Nothing beats catching your limit everyday. I can not thank everyone enough. See you next year.
Had a great fishing with Capt Willy B. He worked hard to make sure we all had the best experience possible and caught exactly what we wanted. I’ve enjoyed fishing with him so much that this was my 5th trip. Brought my kids this time and he made sure they got the full experience and each caught their first yellowfin tuna.
Ashton and Jake have got to be the two hardest working fisherman in Venice, LA!!! Their dedication to the trade is second to none! At one point during the trip we transferred our line to three different rigs just to ensure the fish was landed!!! We truly enjoyed our experience and will continue to ask for them by name. Ashton and Jake have earned a lifetime customer and would HIGHLY recommend!!!!
Superb boat with state of the art technology. Our captain brought us right to the fish at every stop. Went home with sore arms and a packed freezer! Would recommend and use this charter group again, next time for inshore.
We fished with Capt Scot King and we wanted to snapper fish and that’s exactly what we caught, monster mangroves and monster ARS, we decided not to Tuna fish this year but also caught a bonus yellowfin that was popping behind the boat! Awesome trip thanks again!
