Booked a tuna trip with Voodoo Charters in 2022. Weather kept us from going. Re-booked for June 2023 same issue. Finally everything came together in August, The staff performed flawlessly in each set-back. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Captain Nick and Matt had to deal with six greenhorns that had never attempted anything close to a trip like this. They worked tirelessly to make sure our trip was successful. Nick and Matt's work ethic and dedication to make sure our trip was a success showed us they enjoy what they do in the thirteen hours we were together. We felt like they have known us all our life. As you can see from the picture we had a great time. Judging from the crowd we drew when Matt hung our catch, we did real well. Thanks to Nick and all the Voodoo team. Anyone looking for a tuna trip, must start with Voodoo Charters. You won't have to look any further. Thanks again Nick & Matt
We had a great time fishing Voodoo. We only booked a trip for one day and couldn’t have received a better experience! Captain Ronald and Deck Hand Josh were awesome and had us on fish most of the day. We ended up with 2 yellowfin tuna and a limit of red snappers. They were super helpful in making sure the my boys Ages 7 and 8 caught some snappers and got in on the action. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a great offshore fishing experience!
Thank you Captain Chris and to your mate who makes our day great. I promise not to do deep sea fishing again after getting sea sick few years back in Florida. My first to catch a yellow fin tuna!!! Wait not one, but two. Our group is completely satisfied as you tried to make sure every one caught one at least.
I recently booked a trip with some friends we drove 10 plus hours to fish once we arrived we received very little communication between the business. They canceled at the last minute and stated that the boat we were going on was broken.We stayed a extra day in town and were pushed off to another guide and a deck hand that only wanted to eat gold fish and was obviously lost on what to do. For a once in a lifetime trip Voodoo dropped the ball I get not catching many fish but just throwing paying people off on anyone with a boat is piss poor business. Hopefully everyone else has better luck. Side note just be honest it will make business go a lot further and not ruin people’s trips or drag them out.
Very professional and Knowledgeable crew. Myself and the rest of the guys were very satisfied with our trip.They wore us out with the yellowfin tuna also limited us out with the red snapper. And for good measure threw in a couple of scamp grouper. We will recommend this outfit anytime
The fishing trip of a life time! Me and my friends had the best fishing trip with this guys! Captain Allen and Hunter are the best in the industry. They are professional and very knowledgeable and will get you that fish! The proof is in the pictures. If anyone is thinking about going with this crew fishing, don’t hesitate, you will not regret it! Simply the best! Thank you guys! It was well worth it!
We went fishing with Captain Chad Audibert and First Mate Zack for two days earlier this week. The guys simply put us on Tuna both mornings and Red Snapper in the afternoons. A couple of hard working, knowledgeable fun guys. The fishing gear is top notch. We look forward to fishing with them again in the near future.
Epic experience! We were the first ones out to the oil rigs. Picked me up at 530am, caught bait and Hit our limit by 8am. Then here come the other boats, lol, sleepers! WE started the Tuna breakfast feeding. Don't sleep! My Capt Heavy and Matt were awesome as I'm sure all the others are also. I got spoiled on my dream of catching Yellowfin but timing is everything. Voodoo has plenty of boats so take your pick. I'll be back and very partial to Voodoo. Just remember y'all, it's fishing not catching. Tuna capital! Thank you Voodoo for making my dream come true
Captain Chad Audibert @Capt_chad with Voodoo Fishing Charters was very patient and professional as well as the deckhand Colby. His fishing knowledge and personality made it a perfect trip. The charter was a trip of a lifetime and an amazing experience full of great memories! Absolutely recommend!
We had one hell of a trip with Captain Travis! He was the best captain I've ever fished with. He gave us the best trip we could ever ask for. Voodoo Charters has top notch captains with quality boats and gear. If you're looking for a trip of a lifetime give them a call.
