This class offers even the experienced dog owner a wealth of new information about canine development and behavior. Research indicates that one of the most important periods of socialization for your new puppy occurs between 6-16 weeks of age. At this class all family members, including puppy, learn key points of behavioral training.
•How your puppy thinks (pack hierarchy)
•Proper dog handling techniques
•Proper dog socialization
•How to decrease/eliminate biting, chewing, digging etc.
•Proper house training techniques
•Grooming skills
The first class is a two hour orientation from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm without puppies.
The next four classes meet from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm with puppies.
All classes meet at Superior Animal Hospital (get directions).
