Stepping into Surf Lodge in the Hamptons, you’re immediately drawn to its iconic charm that perfectly blends sophistication with a beachy, laid-back vibe. The interior is decorated tastefully, giving off an ambiance that’s simultaneously classy and relaxed, just like a serene beach at sunset. The food menu is delightful, offering a range of tastes to satisfy your palate. I tried the rigatoni, which was cooked to perfection, and the Cod, a dish full of flavor. While the food was good, what really sets this place apart is the incredible selection of drinks and the live music. I indulged in their spicy margaritas, a standout choice that paired perfectly with the sounds of the evening. Service was prompt and attentive, complementing the overall experience. Whether you’re coming for a casual catch-up with friends or a romantic date night, Surf Lodge has a little something for everyone. Rating: Food setting 4/5 - enjoyable but come for the drinks and music, Overall experience 5/5 - a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a stylish yet chill environment by the beach
Ryan- our server was amazing. I had put that it was me and my fiancés anniversary on Resy and he gave us a complimentary dessert of vanilla ice cream and a brownie- it really made us feel special! Drinks were great, music was great and food was absolutely delicious! Fun date night spot!Rooms: 5/5
Great place, great location, very nice people. Caught a fantastic concert on a beautiful evening. And by the way, we met jayma, the owner. Extremely nice and involved with her property. We will definitely be back.! -Dr MooreRooms: 5/5
I’ve never seen anything like this. The owner lady stands around up front and insults people and yells at everyone like an unhinged maniac. The rest of the staff follows suit. Once you get in, the scene is vacuous. It’s just a bunch of influencer types waiting to take video of the two hit songs that an artist will play to post it on socials. Absolutely no idea why anyone would waste their time with this tired establishment. So pissed we wasted our time and money.
* Parking = no *hostess= terrible, first they give a terrible attitude. After you waiting for nothing they seat you. *food = overcooked, the frito misto without fish but with shisito peppers.yuck * drink= it’s a dinner service they charge you $75 dollars if you don’t seat but you get served with plastic utensils. Great experience 0 stars
The Surf Lodge provided an exceptional backdrop for our dinner and drinks this weekend, radiating an irresistible energy that captured the laid-back, beachy vibe of Montauk. With a prime location overlooking the water, the beach area is the perfect spot to sip a cocktail and take in the stunning view. The Reuben Oliver fashion event added an extra layer of cool to our evening. Their pop-up shop was an unexpected delight, offering chic and comfortable options, including the fantastic hoodie I snagged when the sun dipped and the temperature cooled. It's a trendy and vibrant spot that manages to maintain a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere—a truly iconic Hamptons experience.
Although dinner was fair, but overpriced, we were disappointed with service, our treatment, and the cheap overall crowded noisy people. Not my scene. Noteworthy details: The view of sunset was nice.
Prix fixe dinner for 14 people - $150 per person, and we were given LITERALLY 8 pieces of bread, 4 steaks, and 2 single servings of pasta, and 2 small salads. Enough food for 4-6 people, not 14. When we tried to point how how ridiculous this was, the server rolled her eyes. This place is an embarrassment.Service: 1/5
I stumbled across this place online after having been there many years ago as a young child. Seems like the last kind of place I’d ever go. Anyways I was having dinner there with my family and I went to the car to get something with my brother and they would not let us back inside! They said we had to wait on line and our mom tried to come get us but the security wouldn’t let us in! I was probably 10 years old!
Food was fine, nothing special, but there are gorgeous views from their backyard. Enjoyed the time there; fantastic service. Get good photos at a brunch!
