Good small store, one of the best Indian store around Haslett

Overpriced, please check the bill for prices and double billing the same purchase. please look at the product expiry or ask the owner guy on the counter for anything you need or don't like about. The traffic is low here hence owner isn't bothered much about regular restocking. He stocks once in a week on every Thursday.

I get sick EVERY time I purchase items from here. They have Old items they don’t restock much due to them not having lots of business so they leave the shelves stocked for months and that isn’t safe especially with COVID around. Some of the chips are stale, the marshmallows I bought for my kids were hard as a ROCK...not only are the groceries there not fresh but the owner MR. Shiva is very unprofessional I don’t want to talk bad about anyone, nobody is perfect but Mr. shiva is extremely rude he has severe anger problems so watch what you say, one wrong thing and he will try to fight you. He tried throwing a glass bottle at my younger brother. Mr. shiva if you’re reading this you have Intermittent explosive disorder and should really get it checked out. I have never witnessed anyone getting as angry as you over a face mask

My family and I experienced episodes of nausea and vomiting after purchasing groceries from here. PLEASE AVOID at all costs. The place is dirty, and the workers are even dirtier. Especially management: Shiva. I can not believe that this establishment is still in business. Everything's overpriced too, so you pay even more for expired groceries.

Horrible experience. Accidentally forgot my mask and the owner/cashier aggressively yelled at me and grabbed a wine bottle a s literally chased me out. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day and took it out on me but that is no way to treat customer. I will be going to police with this. I believe his name is Sivah.

Gross place spill on floor not cleaned up and bugs doing the oy cleaning in store. Also the products are outdated and nothing is fresh! Go to swadesh better! At least they know what customer service is.

I bought groceries and they were expired and we ended up getting food poison. I don't think they sell a lot so the groceries sit on the shelves for a long time. I won't go back here.

I’m new to cooking Indian food and got ingredients for Saag Paneer here. The owner was very helpful and gave me pointers on how to use the Kasoori Methi I bought. Such a pleasant place to shop!

Not worth a detailed review. People seemed to like it for quantity. I found the spicy food way too salty. Walked out feeling bogged down and uncomfortable. Will not come again, because good alternatives are around.
