My wife and I are still among the living. We decided to do the planning part of the funeral experience ahead of time. I like to plan everything. When we go on a vacation, I usually have most of the details planned ahead of time. It makes sense to do the same with the final planning of ones living here on this little green planet. Jessica , at Dignity Memorial, made the whole process very easy. We picked a box we would like our cremated remains to be placed in for eternity. We opted for a small family viewing, and a church service. Because I am a veteran, I was able to secure a spot at a Veteran's Cemetary. Everything is done. Nobody needs to try and decide what they think we might have wanted at the last minute. Also, all the expenses are paid in full.
Our experience with SWAN Funeral Home started w/Funeral Director Nicole a true professional. This was not pre-planned and we had no experience w/cremation. We had a beautiful private viewing before cremation. Throughout Nicole and her Team were sincere, caring and compassionate. To top it all off, our burial at sea as directed by Mom was professionally facilitated by Captain Jay out of Groton. I would highly recommend SWAN to friends and family. Many thanks
Our family called Swan Funeral Home for my brother who passed unexpectedly. They were there within a short time and very kind. They removed my brother in a dignified manner, which we appreciated very much. They were able to meet right away and explained all our options clearly. If I have any need in the future, this will be the facility I use. Thank you again for your respectful and kind service.
Staff was so attentive, gentle,and very caring for my mom and our family. Communication was exceptional and they went above and beyond for us and my mom during this hard time. Nicole was very professional and amazing. Thank you for everything. You were with my mom from beginning to end.
