Sweet Magnolia's Bakery Cafe

Sweet Magnolias employees and owner always treat us with kindness and are always very helpful at fitting us in last minute if need be. Their products are the best around and it will be the only bakery me or any of my family will use. Their prices are very reasonable. I always love the saying you pay for what you get. Well I know everytime I order from them my cake, cookies, or whatever sweets I order that week will be fresh and baked with love.

Paid $5 for a cupcake size piece of cheesecake and it tasted and smelled like ruined milk! Also paid right at $15 for a lunch special and the bread was so hard and old could barely chew it. We ordered from here 2 days in a row and the staff got orders wrong and were rude and seemed confused about everything. They were out of half the things listed for the daily menu at 9:45 am for the lunch menu. And they had listed things in their Facebook page as having that day and then when we called they said they didn’t have half of the things on the list. Very disappointed

We stopped on our way back from NOLA such a charming cafe. The egg salad was amazing and the butter pecan cupcake outstanding. My friend had the tomato basil soup and grilled cheese and was equally happy. Great place to stop while traveling.

I've always bought from another bakery. But, after this cake, I will be using Sweet Magnolia from now on. The cake was not only beautiful, it was so moist and delicious!

I am More than Pleased with the service Sweet Magnolia gave to me. She helped me in everyway possible, plus my son's grooms cake looked prettier than the picture I gave her to go by. !! All the staff is nice except the owner. We ordered cookies for Christmas a week ago and paid for them. Came back this week and our order wasn’t prepared, and the owner said we owed her more money. We did the math on our own and that was very incorrect. The treats are good, but not good enough to pay the steep prices.

Sweet Magnolias did such a great job on cakes for our reception! Both the white and red velvet were so moist and delicious!

This bakery is outstanding. Freshly made baked goods, cookies, and candies every day. They have a great selection of freshly made sandwiches and homemade soups for lunch. It’s also a great place to stop for soup and dip mixes. Kim will even make up a gift basket if you need something special. It’s worth the trip.
