This gorgeous park is in Anaheim, CA., not too big, not too small. There are baseball field, basketball court, beach valleyball court no net, benches, picnic tables, clean restroom and kids playground. There is a short hiking trail up the on the South side with great view. Parking spaces are inside the park and on street.
One of Anaheim’s better small parks, perhaps because of the upscale community around it. The well maintained grounds are great for picnics, small gatherings, walking the dog, jogging, walking and sporting events, including basketball, baseball and soccer. I noticed there’s an older Rotary Club tree planting plaque located near the restrooms. It seems there must have been a program for that, though few and far between as of now. This park would not be good for shade tree spots on sunny, hot days. Also across the street is the Anaheim Fire Station, there at the ready to protect the local residents, businesses and the few trees we’ve got here! There’s also the East Anaheim Community Garden, a local volunteer maintained plant growing space.
We had a lot of fun here! Our plan was to visit Ronald Reagan Park but our friends invited us to join them here and we loved it. I would have had the best time here as a kid playing don't touch the ground with all the climbing space for kids. I love the globe thing that rotates. So different!
Great little park. There's a big open field you can let your dog utilize. The ledges at the baseball field are skateable
Located on a scenic hill side, a cute little park. Small enough to cover by my one’s eye sight, big enough to work out, stretch and shed one’s calories, with its amenities and inclines.
Sports facilities well taken care of, volleyball court could use more sand. Bathroom is 2/10
Great little park. 1 full court. Kids run bball practice here.
The park is very nice, clean, and well maintained. I come here to play basketball, but the courts can fill up quick sometimes since there is only a full court. The restrooms are also clean. The parking lot is small, but I have never had a problem with parking.
This park feels like it was designed BY the children, rather than FOR the children. Lots of cool looking, brightly colored equipment, but none of it works quite right. For starters, the ground cover is about 12-18" too shallow, making everything impossible for young kids to climb up onto. This means parents HAVE to help kids up onto everything, rather than let them work out out on their own. The swings are both too high to climb onto, and too short at the chains to create a satisfying pendulum. The giant spinny carousel thing is difficult to spin and requires at least one person on the outside to get it going. The parking lot has no barrier to keep little ones from wandering out into traffic, and there is a fire department in plain sight, which draws young attentions towards danger on the regular. It's ultimately a really cool looking park that doesn't actually work. Location is solid, but that doesn't matter if the kids are angry and/or dead.
Love this park. Parking can be limited at times. Playground for kids. Basketball court and baseball field. The park is surrounded by lovely neighborhoods, fire department, community garden and walking trails.
