This is such a great place. Plenty of parking as well as places to get food. I love the eclectic style of the entire store you can get almost anything there. Most certainly you can get in and out of there quick for fuel.
I paid for parking and one of the parking attendants decided to tell me they were sold out before I even acknowledged him or the fact I had my confirmation receipt in hand. I really feel like he was racist.
Thank you guys for your Southern hospitality, Very nice people. Especially Judy, sweet lady I could sit down & have a cup of coffee and talk for hours. By the way you make great coffee.
Stopped there at 5 this morning to get gas and decided to take a break after a 5-hr drive from Virginia. At 5:25 the security rudely pounded on my window saying I can’t sleep in the car overnight. At first I thought someone tried to break into my car. What a joke. 25 minutes = overnight?? What am I supposed to do? Stop on the side of the road? Will never return here ever again. Long distance drivers, be careful of coming here.
Passing through stayed here a couple of nights. Felt safe and not harassed considering most of this city seems to be on the defense more than other cities. I went to work out at a close by Planet Fitness and the police flashed me 3 times b4 I could get my gym bag ready. DAMN!
I was trying to pay for the parking as an Ultra One member with the Truck Smart app yesterday. It was showing a lot of spots available at this location but the app didn’t let me to pay and I felt asleep parking 19. At midnight security guy knocked my door and told me to move. I came to the cashier and those two ladies didn’t even try to help me. I said I can’t drive because I want to sleep, I was driving all day. They said they don’t care. Thank you for your respect to the professional drivers.
Just about every single truck parking spot is reserved parking. TA/Petro will be turning all of their truck stops into paid parking only. So, unless you want to pay an outrageous amount to park or buy stuff in their useless facilities, avoid them at all costs!!
Out of most of the TAs I have been to,this one is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to parking! A disproportional amount of the lot goes towards paid/reserved parking! Don't be fooled by the lame response from the owner about the lot being 50% 50%! I inquired about the sections for free parking and was able to capture a screenshot of the outlay. Please see the picture attached. Shame on this TA for really gouging fellow truckers out here working hard to make it! Like 1 review said.." y'all already make millions off of us through fuel etc". And to top it off,the only food store open is the burger King. The Popeyes and country pride were out of commission. Big Boo! to this location.
Laundry room is dirty and disgusting,it’s like they never heard in this place what clean and cleaning means! Gross
Shop is slow, does not communicate, and has no regard for a driver’s time. I got here at 10:30am with an appointment. They said it would be another hour and a half before they got to me. I said ok no problem. 5 hours later they still haven't started on my truck. Apparently, they didnt have enough techs then they put the wrong oil in some guy’s truck so they had to redo that. All the while, there has been zero communication. I couldve gone home for a few hours to be with my family while i waited, or just gotten here at 5pm. Not how I wanted to spend my one day off. Unbelievable.
