Do no cater from this place. They will undercook your food if they feel someone else with a bigger order has more priority than you. I went to the restaurant to have a good enjoyable lunch. When I got to the restaurant my food wasn't ready. I ordered my food an hour before. I got to the restaurant 20mins after my door dash app told me the food was ready. Owner told me to wait outside for 15 mins then came outside to argue with me because I mentioned to him my app said the food was ready 20 mins ago. After reading the reviews on yelp it seems the owner of the place is a big problem to customers experience. Owner refused to give me refund. Full story on my yelp review. I didn't enjoy my meal and they rushed my order to make up for their mistake. even tho I was understanding and perfectly okay with waiting. I want a fully cooked meal not a rushed pink chicken Especially catering !!!!! Rethink and reconsider before you cater a big meal things can and will go wrong and they always do. The owner is who you have to go thru to deal with to fix things.
Had a family dinner for 11 here. Awesome food. Great service. Perfect ambience.
It would be great if they stopped accepting OpenTable reservations for days when they're closed.
Based on a friends recommendation, and my obsession with Mediterranean foods, we chose Taheri's for lunch. Quickly seated in a small and tightly arranged seating room we jumped right into perusing the menu as our drink orders were shortly on their way. I ordered an eggplant app and the greek salad and then we waited and waited for about 20 minutes or more. When the food finally arrived I dove right in and it was great. The salad was a little salty but it was full of flavor and a brightly colored arrangement. Overflowing with cucumber and tomatoes, sprinkled with oregano and crowned with a sprig of basil this was a greatly appreciated recommendation. The eggplant app was interesting as it wasn't until about half way through that I noticed its smokey flavor. I think it was the distinct flavors from the salad that masked the smokiness of the eggplant because I tasted the smokiness more after my salad was finished and I continued eating the eggplant. Regardless of the wait, the food was fantastic. I would expect a shorter wait next time I visit but it was truly a Mediterranean, non-rushed lunch.
The restaurant was 2 blocks from hotel. We walked. Food was delicious. I had the rack of lamb, garlic potato's and sauteed green beans. Customer service was excellent. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.
Amazing food! Excellent service! If you're looking for an elegant Mediterranean meal this place is the place. I recommend the mussels and clams appetizer with their rosemary bread. Also had their Spanish Paella, Shish Kebabs, and rack of lamb. All delicious dishes!
Excellent service. Price reasonable. Some higher some lower. Superb food. There soup will for ever be in my dreams. Spinach cream soup. Food came fast. They catered to my uncle who is in a wheelchair. So big thumbs up. Will come back.
Came here for a late lunch, couple other parties eating, quick to get a table. Food was great and authentic. The app sampler was yummy, dolmas tasted fresh made as was the flat bread. Ordered a dungeons crab salad that was loaded with crab, also the falafel wrap tasted very good. Ordered a baklava for dessert, small portion but very very good. Best Mediterranean food around. Parking was easy in the garage and they validate.
I had a light meal here on a rainy night. Very few people in the place but the staff worked hard. The food is a mix of cuisines from around the Mediterranean. Lebanese, italian, Greek and Spanish influences are easily seen. While the space appears small, there are plenty of tables for almost all reasonable group sizes. Overall a pleasant place.
Nice job of hosting our Holiday get together. I have had lunch there and the kabobs and rice are wonderful. Has a feel that takes you away from the city. Easily located across the street from Pleasant Hill Bart.
