Description

The Tanglewood is conveniently located on the main floor at The Comstock Inn & Conference Center in Downtown Owosso and is open to the public as well as guests staying at The Comstock.

Originally opened as The Tanglewood Lounge in 1997, we have recently renewed our commitment to bringing you high quality food and beverages in a comfortable and casual dining atmosphere.

We now proudly offer a diverse menu that features many fresh and skillfully prepared seafood dishes as well as a classic American menu that we have become famous for.

Our renewed commitment to customer satisfaction and comfort prompted us to complete a remodel of the entire dining facility. With this remodel, we now offer White Linen formal dining in our beautiful Harbor Room.

You will also enjoy our casual dining area that features big screen televisions and a full service bar. Bring friends and family in to watch the game or sit and enjoy a quiet dinner.

Friday and Saturday evenings will feature live entertainment. Check our Events page for the latest artist information.

delicious food, though it took quite a while to come out - i’d recommended getting a drink while you wait. i wish there were more vegetarian/vegan options for brunch! but overall a nice spot to eat.Food: 5/5
Alright blue collar. I see you. Elevated sister restaurant to Sidewinders. Solid place for some wildly flavorful eats. They offer some phenomenal steaks, duck, and roast chicken. I’ve been here a few times over the last couple years and there are some great offerings depending on the season. Recently went there there for another happy hour where you get some unique foods and discounts on drinks. Grateful for the good service and awesome GM. 4/5 just for timing of food. Takes way too long when you have less than six people in the restaurant. Will definitely continue returning.
Food was good. Definitely thought the drink I had was well overpriced. Where I come from the glass is full for half that cost. Service was slow for not many people in the restaurant. Waitress was not very friendly. She pretty much had a bad attitude and thought she was better than us. Won’t come back and will not recommend to anyone else.
Amazing dinner. Best burger I’ve had in a long time. I wouldn’t call my tastebuds discerning but I could taste each of the flavors of the burger, including the added carmelized onions and fried egg. The Apple crisp wasn’t my favorite but definitely seemed made from scratch and still very good. Ice cream cookie sammies also hit the spot. 4 star dining at a 3 star price. Not the cheapest menu in Bozeman but worth every penny and more.
Food is good. Salmon and burger was good. Free range chicken was good, just a small portion. We had the brussel sprout appetizer and it was very good. My 3 out of 5 stars are due to the staff. I had the coupon mailer they sent out and they would not honor the "plus $5 off any entree". I understand newer restaurants have growing pains, but when I pointed out to our server what the coupon said, he first said it either or, but after reading it he said it's for a second visit. I am putting a picture of my receipt and coupon so someone in management can make sure this doesn't happen to others. Why do a mailer if you are not going to honor it!?!?!
Tanglewood is the best fine dining in Bozeman. My husband and I always go for special events like birthdays or anniversary’s. We had our anniversary dinner there this week and had a great time with great service.Food: 5/5
My wife and I had dinner with our friends, and Kelly was our server. We shared the shrimp and cauliflower appetizers, and 3 of us had the halibut, and 1 had pizza. The presentation was tremendous, as was the flavor of all the food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and Kelly was amazing! Perfect evening! Thank YouFood: 5/5
Beautiful restaurant! Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The food was just ok, though. The fried mushroom appetizer was good, but felt really heavy with oil as though it wasn’t cooked at a high enough temperature. So it was more oily than crispy. The flavor of the sauce was nice, though. Everything else was… ok. The medium rare filet we ordered came out well done. Twice. The very polite, accommodating and professional manager apologized and took that item off the bill. The food was 3 stars, but the hard working staff brings it up to 4.
The burger and fires were amazing! Make sure to order the burger not well done. I ordered mine medium well, it was perfect! I met a buddy of mine here and it is an awesome place to go to catch up and eat great food! If you are looking for a great place for lunch or dinner, check out Tanglewood Grill & Tap, you won’t be disappointed.
The dinner is great but the brunch is so so. Used to have bottomless mimosas and don’t anymore. I don’t really blame them since their bottomless were legit bottomless. Also, the breakfast sausage was changed to duck sausage and is honestly terrible super dry and way too gamey. They used to have standard pork sausage and it was great but this change seems like a weird charcuterie board sausage and not what I’m expecting with eggs for brunch. Dinner food is great and love it but the recent brunch changes I’d steer clear.
