Tao Karate Club was founded by Soke Jeff Wood and combines the styles of Korean and Japanese martial arts to form Mudokwan Taekwondo.
Tao means "the way" and is pronounced "DOW"
The Tao ranking system is: White - Yellow - Green - Red - Black
There are also branches of the Tao in Winthrop and Wiscasset.
