Came in during the lunch rush to sit down and enjoy a meal here for the first time. They lost our order in the rush so we didn’t get our food for 30 minutes. However the atmosphere of the restaurant kept us fully entertained. Once our food was delivered, the chef personally delivered a authentic cake for free due to the inconvenience. This was completely unnecessary. Not to mention the food that we ordered was AMAZING! The staff seemed very hardworking and very accommodating. I would come back again and again. If you are looking for a great Thai restaurant, Tara is the place!
Wow, had the shrimp pad thai and side of fried rice, and it was amazeballs. Hot and spicy, since I order it like that, and craft beer on tap... hit that spot guys. Thanks for a great plate and if it stays like this I can't wait to see how it is in the future. Good job guys.
Their food does taste pretty good I like their green curry and the red curry but the sauce is kind of soupy. I really wish they would add some substance to the sauce it would really make a difference with a couple more ingredients and flavors. It's a bit overpriced for the amount of food that they provide but there is no Thai place within within probably an hour distance. My grandkids love the drunken noodles. They Say that it is delicious!
Pad thai is great , savory and always taste fresh. Drunken noodles are spicy and delicious. This is my favorite place to get pad Thai between Bemdiji and Duluth . We make a point to eat here when we are in town.Food: 5/5
The Mango curry was superb! If you are looking for good flavor, but not the spice, try the cashew chicken. The veggie egg rolls were delivered hot and the too were delicious.
Wow! Excellent food and service. Many craft beers on tap. We had gotten the drunken noodles, volcano chicken, and pork fried rice. All were great with tons of flavor. Definitely recommend the drunken noodles, I wish we would’ve doubled up on them they’re that good! Not a single complaint with our visit

I'm from CA and finding good ethnic food in rural MN is difficult. We tried Tara when we moved to Bemidji and had low expectations because of the other Thai food we've tried in rural areas. To my pleasant surprise, the food is flavorful, well-seasoned, and a huge difference than other Thai restaurants I've tried. It's not as spicy as I'd like but they have chili flakes and Sriracha available for people like me who want to add more spice. There is a good variety and I'm not embarrassed to invite my CA friends to eat there. We really enjoy Tara and eat there several times a month. I NEED access to good food so this has been a nice change.
The best iced Thai tea I’ve ever had! The pad Thai was also delicious.
