Brian Chico is a fourth generation Shreveport native. He has been creating art since the age of five. He began formal artistic training at St. John Berchmans Cathedral School, continued his education at Caddo Magnet High School, and graduated from LSU Shreveport with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, where he studied under local artists including Lamoyne Batten and Don Alexander.
Brian's painting background has led him to cutting edge art mediums including his latest endeavor in digital art production. His photo inspired digital fine art prints and giclee canvas prints are part of his efforts to create economically affordable original artwork available for mass consumption. His main goal has always been to produce a vast inventory of artwork that can appeal to many varying interests, while remaining obtainable to all levels of individuals, regardless of their economic standing. In addition to his inventory of available artwork, he also does commission work upon request, producing original art in similar style inspired by your own personal photographs and ideas. In 2013, he decided it was time to make available his artistic services to everyone and created his label Tauran Design Studios.
